CNN Faces A Class Action Racial Discrimination Suit That Is Growing ‘Exponentially’

According to Breanna Edwards of The Root.com, CNN is facing a growing racial discrimination lawsuit that according to The Hollywood Reporter “may grow exponentially.” CNN’s ongoing lawsuit is explained in an April 5, 2017 piece titled “CNN Facing Racial-Discrimination Lawsuit Claiming African Americans Receive Lower Performance Ratings in Evaluations”:

Another major news network is facing allegations in a racial-discrimination lawsuit, stemming from a proposed class action in Georgia federal court. In the lawsuit, plaintiffs claim that at CNN and other Time Warner units, African Americans receive lower performance ratings in evaluations, that there are huge discrepancies in pay between employees doing similar jobs but who are of different races, and that promotion for black employees is blocked by a “glass ceiling.”

Thus, while CNN felt the need to publicize an apology regarding racist Reddit posts, it’s currently facing a racial discrimination lawsuit entailing numerous horrific allegations.

In addition to The Root, The Hollywood Reporter has also described CNN’s ongoing legal troubles in an April 4, 2017 piece by Eriq Gardner titled “CNN Faces Growing Racial Discrimination Lawsuit”:

Unlike the lawsuit against Fox News, the one against CNN and sister companies is much broader, claiming among other things that African-Americans receive lower performance ratings in evaluations, that there are dramatic differences in pay between similarly situated employees of different races and that the promotion of African-American employees is blocked by a “glass ceiling.” The complaint (see here) cites hiring and advancement statistics while alleging that African-American employees have endured slurs from superiors, including “It’s hard to manage black people” and “Who would be worth more: black slaves from times past, or new slaves?”(continued)

This is just speculation, but I think one of the reason for lower ratings is because of “minority” hiring standards being lower at the hiring stage. Less qualified persons will tend to get lower evaluations. Saw it at the TV station where I worked decades ago.

So now when CNN reports someone is racist the will have to say “see, they’re racist too!”.

Hire less qualified and talented people to give a higher minority body count for affirmative action reasons and they predictably get,on average, lower job performance ratings due to their lower qualifications and lesser talents.

Get sued for racial discrimination.

Having watched CNN on air talent you have to admit that some of their minority talking heads are pretty dismal, a fact disguised by the fact that most of CNN’s on air talent is pretty dismal overall.

But CNN’s obsession with radical Leftist employees means they are hiring more and more radical racial identity and social justice activists who have no problem suing CNN for the racial discrimination they are taught in their identity politics school work to identify and then fight.

If I am a thief, to reduce my cognitive dissonance over the immorality, I am likely to seek out others whom I can call worse thieves. It doesn't matter whether they actually ARE thieves, so long as I can lie to myself that they are, and that they are worse.

This seems to be what's behind dem white elites constantly yapping about how racist conservatives are. As a conservative, I'm really not sure what they are talking about. It's not so much that I argue with them. It's that they might as well tell me I have purple spots on my face, nor do I care about purple spots on anyone's face. Sorry, I just ... don't ... have ... purple ... spots on my face. And nor do I give a crap about anyone's race, unless they are playing a race card, in which case, it's their politics and philosophy I have a problem with, not their skin color. I just ... don't ... care.

So I think this bizarre racial stuff we're enduring from the left really does come from the fact that they know they are racist, ARE racist, and if they can make us, in their minds, MORE racist, then they get a pass from the consciences.

It's all I can think of. I keep expecting to meet these righty racists, but I just don't ever meet them. Culturally, as a mistake of history, many with black skin are following a set of values and actions that doom them to failure, but that again is a correlative thing and not a causation - it's not their skin color that causes it.

So I think the left should just STFU and look in the mirror. Since they won't, I'm glad black 'folks' (HATE THAT WORD!!!!!) are finally turning the magnifying glass on the ones who seem to actually hold and subscribe to the notion that blacks are an inferior species. That would be, and always has been, the left -> save for a few fringe groups who may call themselves 'on the right' but don't actually subscribe to the values expounded in the Declaration of Independence or Constitution or any political or religious philosophies that are anchored in natural/a priori/by-default Freedom gifted by a Creator.
