Keeping ICE away from courthouses turns out to be harder than liberals thought

This is a story which began ramping up back in March. Liberal activists in a number of states were complaining that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was making arrests of illegal aliens in the vicinity of courthouses when they would show up for hearings. (The fact that the same thing happened on an as needed basis while Barack Obama was president didn’t appear to cross their minds.) For their part, ICE argued that illegal aliens frequently have no listed permanent address or place of employment, and if local law enforcement wasn’t going to assist them in their duties, a court appearance was sometimes the only opportunity they would have to locate the suspect.

Since that time, attorneys and prosecutors in several states, most notably California, Arizona, Texas and Colorado, have asked ICE to end this practice. Particularly in Colorado – Denver to be precise – they’ve gotten their answer. Sorry… no can do.....

Any illegal that enters a courthouse, regardless of the reason, should be turned over to ICE upon departure and deported. Zero exceptions. Any contact with anyone sworn to uphold the Constitution and our laws, should result in those laws being carried out.

They’re not. We still afford due process even to illegals but if they get themselves crosswise in the legal system I say fair game for the feds to camp out on the court doorstep and snag every one that goes by.

For the same reason dead people are constituents.

democRATS need both illegals and dead people to vote for them. It's all they got.

>>How is an illegal a constituent?<<

The census drives seats in the house and many local representatives.

And of course the illegal voting.

I suppose it is not politically correct to point this out. But The Constitution protects the rights of Citizens. This has always troubled me when we apply constitutional rights to terrorists captured on battlefields or in foreign countries, illegal criminals here in the states or any other person asking something of our nation that is not a citizen. Citizens have rights protected by our laws, based on our constitution, in our country. All others have privileges (foregoing the recognition of a just and civil society for all humans of course).

How is an illegal a constituent?

If he/she votes, as suggested by Obama in his interview with an illegal advocate before the election. He said, roughly, was, "We won't kick you out for voting, because when you vote you are executing a civic duty."

And that "civic duty" was to keep 0 in office in 2012.

They dropped the ball last year, though.
