I have been asking one question on several threads on several blogs, hoping someone can provide an answer: "Has anyone seen a video proving the accused was actually firing the weapon(s) described from the location described on Oct 1, 2017?"
At least one of the serial numbers on the guns has been traced to him (and probably more than one)...it was his dead body lying on the floor next to the rifles in a room with the windows knocked out...I’m sure the police do have access to video that shows him smuggling the guns up there...I’d say its pretty clear this guy is the ‘real’ shooter.
When folks post a rambling essay, or a 3,000 word excerpt from an article in the comments, I just scroll on past.
Sometimes I'll suggest that they put such a post up as a separate thread.
I’ve been wondering about this since it happened.
I tend to accept the “stated” facts about what happened, but if you actually think about it... how hard would it be for a group to just bust into his room and kill him, throw around a few weapons, then say he was the shooter?
This combined with the fact that nothing seems to add up - nobody has heard anything about this guy being anti-social, or really anti-government, or anti-abortion, or anti anything.
I’m pretty much resigned to the fact I will actually never know who or what was truly responsible.

I’m not doubting that it occurred. I am just asking questions that are not so clear. This could be a setup or part of a bigger terrorist plot or even a fabricated narrative. Do you deny these plausibilities?

He apparently shot 1000 rounds from a thousand feet away... and injured or killed 600 people. Pretty good hit-rate for a middle aged accountant with severe skin allergies. Makes sense. Oh and he conveniently killed himself (shot in the head) before the police could engage him.

With each passing day, it seems more questions are raised than are answered.
I read the police said Stephen had a signal jammer to block the hallway cameras. That way he or whoever else he was working with could slip into that stairwell unnoticed and blend in with the Carnage to escape. I don’t remember what movie it was but I distinctly remember a scene where the criminal dresses as a firefighter with a mask on to blend in and escape from the crime scene.
Assault rifles are easy to hide in suit cases. One need only separate them into their two main parts. Unless he was an idiot, he would have arrived with them packed in suit cases. Moved the suit cases up with a hotel cart. And left the suit cases with the weapons closed until he was ready to do his evil. So I am not sure what surveillance all over Vegas would have seen.
