Word from "Redoubt News" is that US District Judge Anna J. Brown in Portland has come down on Ryan Payne and Jon Rtizheimer after they met recently for a reunion of sorts at Bundy Ranch in Nevada.
Payne is one of the defendants in the Bunkerville case and is awaiting sentencing in the Oregon Standoff protest while Ritzheimer has already been sentenced for his role.
Because they met at Bundy Ranch, Brown has ordered Ritzheimer to report to prison early on January 12th. She has also ordered that Payne be under house arrest in Lss Vegas instead of being allowed to travel freely with a curfew.
While US District Judge Gloria Navarro ordered pre-trial release for Payne, Judge Brown also has a say in his release because he is awaiting sentencing for his role in the Oregon Standoff protest.
The Bundy Rach meeting between Ritzheimer and Payne happened just before Christmas (Dec. 22 or 23) with Ritzheimer coming from his home in Arizona and Payne enroute to Montana where was allowed to spend the holidays by Judge Navarro.
Maxine Bernstein from "Oregon Live" reports that a federal "pretrial services officer" in Portland spotted Facebook photos of the men and told the judge about them out of concern they were violating the conditions of their release.
The federal criminal justice-law enforcement bureaucracy seems to really have a determination to come down on the people associated with the Oregon and Nevada protests.
(UPDATED LATE TUESDAY)
spotted Facebook photos of the men
I would be conservative to argue that our U.S. Justice department spends 75 percent of it’s time, resources, and reputation pursuing all the wrong things and turning over the dirt on all the dirty political tracks, that they are at best useless and really more harmful than helpful in our society.
Just like fake lynx fur, who says photo shop doesn’t get a bench warrant these days?
Were there some law they broke or was it just something you don’t do?
Like supposed thieves out on bail having a reunion at the place they supposedly robbed?
I dont know. That’s why I’m asking.
I just remember the cops murdering someone when they pulled over a car.
I’d up that to 99%
Facebook - where stupid people turn themselves in.
A condition of their release was a geographical and “associates with” clause. This is complicated by the fact that there are two Federal judges involved.
>Constantly pissing off federal judges is not a way to get what you want.
Federal judges deserve about as much respect and dog crap.
So then they’re idiots.
Even Patriots can be idiots. That explains me :)
Dumb move.
When you’re on track to WINNING and having the case against you dropped, you don’t poke the Judge in the eye!
I agree. But when they have the power of the gun and the bench over you and have shown that they are willing to use them one should try and not piss them off - especially when it appears that your case is gaining ground in your favor.
Just ANOTHER FBI horse shit deal here.
NO confidence in any thing this corrupt FBI does.
Comey? get real here
Dossier? Jokes on the FBI here too,
On and on it goes showing the FBI to be simply horse shit.
Gary Hunt of “Outpost of Freedom” is no Facebook fan either.
Communicate ideas but don’t give away information to the government.
Martin Luther King figured out in the good old days the government had informants in his ranks so he planned the 1963 pivotal Birmingham protest at a secluded location with trusted associates.
Good advice for the days we live in today.
They are political enforcers and what will happen after Republican Wray gets finished with ferreting out Obama’s men and women from the FBI?
The RINO’s will spy on all their enemies using the FBI.....
