Fake science: Two articles yesterday from the so-called science journals Nature and Science today illustrate once again how pervasive the corruption in the climate field has now spread to almost anything that relates to climate

I think tree huggers should sacrifice themselves to the bears.
But jimmy carter made marine mammals sacred so now in Alaska and much of the US, seals, and other pinniped are overpopulated. Plenty of nice red meat for the white bruins.
Even blondes know that. Well, not all...
Good one! (excellent stuff from everyone!)
Excellent!
friend of mine wrote this to me about this particular bit of fake polar bear “science”:
Polar bear “science” (fpbs, the f is for fake) tells much about the decline in the proper practice of science. mainstream fpbs wants to make a dramatic emergency solely to obtain funding. There is absolutely NO — not one iota — problem with the polar bear populations.
A much better argument can be made for overpopulation of the bears as their numbers have increased about 6-fold since the introduction of hunting regulations in the 1950s.
there are 30,000 + polar bears and this report is about 9 of them, and studied in the spring only. If I wanted to spend the time reading the papers, I’m sure I could find lots more wrong with them. Sadly, Science and Nature could not ;-(
Furthermore... (note the second sentence, the supposedly crucial dependence on sea ice is just plain false)
But none of these apologists acknowledge the simple truth: the models that predicted catastrophe for polar bears due to diminished summer sea ice turned out to be wrong. The sea ice declined but polar bears flourished.
Polar bears in seasonal sea ice ecoregions like Western Hudson Bay and Baffin Bay didnt die off due to climate change as people were told would happen why should they believe any of the other scare stories?

polarbearscience.com is A really good website with real facts about polar bears and the sorry state of “fpbs”. the bears are fine, real science is suffering.
Good stuff!
pivoting slightly...this reminds me of Owen Benjamin for some reason.
tangentially—I’m in Michigan, and we have more Turkey, Deer, and Bald Eagles, than anytime in my lifetime.(which pre-dates the EPA) No bears (polar or otherwise) near me,(that I know of...) but there are Bobcat’s.
