On his way into his Ohio rally, Trump stopped his motorcade to get out and shake hands with some firefighters.

I'm not sure if this is from the recent rally or not. There is another video to show the contrast between Hillary and him.

This is not my video.

I don't know how this guy can upset some folks so much. I'm not a Trumpster but I really like him and he is better than I thought he would be.

Just being honest.

Trump relates to people and there is nothing phony about him.

Stopping to greet those men was from the heart...there was nothing political about it.

For me, this is the defining picture of Donald Trump. It was at the start of a 2016 primary debate. Ben Carson's name was called, and he was supposed to go out on stage. But Carson did not hear his name. So he just stood there. Other candidates just passed by him as their names were called.

But not Trump. He stood with Carson until Carson finally went out on stage. That's class!

Back in the 80s local news reported that Donald Trump’s limo broke down. A guy pulled over to help them and though I don’t remember the particulars, The Donald did get to where he was going on time During that time the samaritan was asked by trump about his ‘situation’. How he was doing economically , etc.

A few days later the good Samaritan got notified by his bank that his large (to him) home mortgage had been payed off by citizen Trump.

Last year, I was going back to look at all the various Presidents. The last time that you had a fairly regular guy....who cared about the ‘little guy’....was Calvin Coolidge. You just look at this guy...he’s always in a decent tie and suit, unless he’s at the golf course. He’s fully capable of firing people, without any regrets.

None of his voters care about the Stormy gal...nor do they believe much of anything that CNN says. He’s take the NFL down a notch, and I suspect he’s about to take the NBA down a notch as well. He’s convinced two black ladies (Diamond and Silk) to stand up for the cause, and they are talking non-stop to disconnect blacks from the Democratic Party.

Everywhere you look....unbridled optimism. Guys are getting up and feeling some new energy. The unemployed are finding jobs. People haven’t felt this way since the 1950s.

What is Sessions still doing there then?

I always thought that the perfect president would be two parts Reagan, one part Coolidge, and one part Truman. Trump has the “Give ‘em hell Harry” Truman part down pat. And he’s seems to have Coolidge’s business sense.

I just wish he’d work a little bit more on the Reagan thing. (Reagan used humor a lot more than he used “smack talk”.)

Libtard democrats would never do something like that. They like their money, err other people’s money, too much.

It is the best job market by far in my working life time. A whole lot of jobs that would have been unattainable when I was young are attainable now.

Ha! I noticed that too. Maybe he was trying to remember where he left his guacamole bowl.

Reagan would have been better if he had had more Trump in his character. Reagan fell for the Dems promises of border security tomorrow for amnesty today. Here we are 30 years down the line and the border still isn't secure.

Yep. That was his biggest failure. But along with Pope John Paul II and Maggie Thatcher, Reagan brought down the Iron Curtain. That was an awesome accomplishment! And he made it cool to be a conservative again. Great guy, but not perfect.

No question about it.

But just as big would be if Trump could be responsible for Europe, along with The US and Canada, turning back the tide of a Muslim invasion. Leaders of countries in Europe wouldn't have stood up to the globalists the way they are if Trump hadn't stood out front to show that they could get away with it.

And he made it cool to be a conservative again.

Trump made it cool to have balls again, and not just go along to get along, particularly with the press.

Oh, and BTW, my opinion of Conservatives has gone way down in the past couple of years since I saw how much the leading voices of the Conservatives are fighting for open borders and "free trade". They're a different flavor of globalist from the Dems, but that alone isn't enough to get my support or respect.

“I just wish he’d work a little bit more on the Reagan thing. (Reagan used humor a lot more than he used “smack talk”.)”

You can’t compare the two, Reagan and Trump, because they are of different eras.

When Reagan was in office the UniParty was no where near evolved as it is now. He was also dealing with a majority dem congress which opposed him but was still in the hands of an older generation.

Reagan had only the three broadcasters, NBC, CBS and ABC. Cable was only available in cities and FOX wouldn’t be founded until 1996.

Today’s rats are so far left they are out of the closet.
Bernie Sanders and Occasionally-Coherent are the new standard bearers of the left. Full on slobbering Marxists with no desire to go back into the closet.
Even Billy Jeff and the Hilldog have little place in the party now.
Even the media no longer attempts to hide it’s bias.
FOX is tilting left and OAN is still a bit player.
Twitter is his only tool to fight back.

The Kenyan wanted to “fundamentally change the country.”
Donald Trump is fighting the Marxist rats exactly how he needs to, like a leader fighting for the life of his country.
This is a knock down, drag out fight without time for niceties. Ain’t no Marquis de Queensbury rules in this fight.

The times for each President were different and the manner of conflicts are different, the manner of dealing with the conflicts are different.
