This spineless weasels in Congress didn’t even have the balls to come out and call her a liar. Instead, they all proclaimed how convincing she was, and that it was OBVIOUS something terrible had happened to her (yeah... like liberalism!) but she was just mistaken, somehow, about it being Kavanaugh - what a load of bull! They WILLFULLY ignored the truth staring them in the faces!
More than that, in fact. If they had any commitment to the truth they would have said “wild, last minute accusations by a known liberal activist citing witnesses who deny even KNOWING the party in question are not grounds for a congressional investigation” and never even entertained this nonsense, allowing a man’s reputation to be savaged as they sat there and covered their own asses for future elections.

Why they put all their chips on killing the Kavanaugh nomination is beyond me - I suspect it’s just some kind of group derangement... that they psychologically need a big win against Trump in SOME way... ANY way, and this was their latest chance at that, and they needed to go all the way with it.
Really bad move, on their part. Now the world has seen they don’t care anything about right, wrong, fairness or anything else... just power. Just winning.

Ford still gets her pay off from a no questions asked “go fund me” page and I am certain a forthcoming lucrative book deal from a yet to be released book written by a stable of Soros paid hacks. In addition Ford will get undying adulation from the pussy hat crowd. She will also lose no sleep over the damage her knowingly false testimony did to Kavanaugh’s reputation and the pain it caused his family especially his young daughters. One could only hope that some retribution will still fall on her. Perhaps her sons will someday be falsely accused of sexual assault.
Once her accusations were tied to the PGA players. The Blasey family had to pull out everything they had to end this nightmare. I’m sure every bit of ex CIA blackmail was used to put a lid on this investigation.
