A most Happy Birthday to all the Christmas, and near Christmas, babies in Freeperland.
Today I am celebrating the 21st anniversary of my 39th birthday.
And as I have heard all my life, Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas.

When I was little, my mother would throw 1/2 year birthday parties for me on June 24th. No little kid wants to go to birthday party on Dec 24.
My mother did 1/2 year birthday parties.
And I swore I would never have kids near Christmas. My oldest was born on Dec 16 and number two on Jan 13. So much for my plans
My mother was pretty good about keeping Christmas Eve for my birthday only, but I’m an only child so it wasn’t that hard.
When I married my first husband, I learned that Italians celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. Not much time for birthdays.
My parents got engaged on March 31st. When my mother called her Aunt the next day to tell her, her Aunt refused to believe her. LOL!
Funny how many people there are with birthdays this time of the year.
I think that Spring has something to do with it ;-)
A belated Happy Birthday.
. I think it should be a law that anyone born within two weeks of Christmas gets to choose another day
Well, it will be haslet as a starter, then duck in cherry sauce, honey parsnips, roast pots (dipped in duck fat) sprouts, chard and chantnay carrots.
For dessert its christmas pud with Calvado sauce, and right at the end, Cropwell Butler cheese and crackers.
What time do we start? :-)

Our daughter’s birthday is the 27th and her son’s is the 23rd with Christmas in the middle. He was 10 yesterday. I never told our daughter to pick a gift from under the tree but I always tried to make that birthday gift extra special - tho’ she never thought it was - but I certainly REMEMBER the “birthday party/cake” routine. That’s absolutely true - there wasn’t anyone around to invite or if they were they were partied out! I’ve told her for years to pick another date but she won’t...
Thanks. My B’Day is today. Both me and my Twin Sister were born today and coincidentally it just happened to be our Father’s B’Day too.
HaPPY bIRTHDAY To You!
Today is my mom’s 92nd Birthday.
Took her out to lunch and just had a little birthday cake for her.
My mother-in-law would have had her birthday today. She passed away back in September. This Christmas is a little bit hard on my wife, her siblings, and (of course) her dad since this is the first Christmas without her.

I went to son #2’s house with all of my kids and got fed lobster ravioli! Yum.
I’m so sorry to hear about your wife’s loss. My oldest boy’s girlfriend lost her dad this Fall and is having a hard time with the holidays too. :-(
