President Trump can build a wall as a military training activity. In a combat area concrete walls may be needed as part of a bunker to protect personnel or supplies. A wall can protect buildings from a truck bomb on a nearby road. Thus military personnel need to know how to construct concrete walls The southwestern states provide a good location to train personnel to construct concrete walls in the Middle East because it has a relatively close match in terrain, climate and soil. Training benefits would include practice in moving personnel, equipment and supplies into an area and learning how to operate in that type physical environment.

As long as we’re on the topic, illegal immigration also presents all sorts of other kinds of military training opportunities. Win-win scenario, I say.

The wall is a TRUE “shovel ready project”, unlike Soetoro’s give-away programs. It infuses jobs and revenue into the economy.

Hmmm, let me think....Where in Texas could you find a bunch of engineers (in training) in need of that type of spring break getaway? (TAMU)

I understand that in Hungary they built a fence about 15 feet back from the border. The named the part of the Hungarian territory between the fence and the actual border the “Transit Area”. When they catch an illegal claiming asylum who by law must be released into their territory, they put him on the other side of the fence, in the “Transit Area”.

We should do the same in the US.

In his autobiography, Norman Schwarzkopf mentioned that the top graduates of West Point get to choose their area. Most of them pick The Corps Of Engineers.

Time to put that talent to work.
