Norah O'Donnell debuted as the anchor of the CBS Evening News on July 15 and, of course, her broadcast was chock full of the utterly predictable attacks upon President Donald Trump. In addition, she dished up gobs of nausea by invoking the name of Edward R. Murrow to go to Level 10 mode of extreme smugness and to imply that she will be using television as a "weapon" to continue attacking Trump.

Note: My running commentary on these brief clips provides added value thus constituting fair use plus I've had all my shots. Therefore no need to go thru the usual routine of automatic demonetization followed by the almost inevitable remonetization which has the effect of stifling views for this video for the sin of expressing conservative opinion.

Yup! I just checked and YouTube pulled the same crap again that I mentioned above. They automatically demonetized this video. So what always happens is that I requested a human review just now and almost inevitably they finally remonetize it but meanwhile the traffic gets SUPPRESSED due to the initial demonetization. It's the sneaky gimmick YouTube uses to suppress views on videos with conservative views. See, they claim they are neutral and, hey, we did remonetize the video after a review. Of course, they leave out that they have already achieved their purpose of suppressing views on the video due to that scam.

I am going to be watching Ted Cruz's Senate subcommittee hearing at 2:30 PM (EDT) today on this very topic. Suppression by Google/YouTube via their search engines, algorithms, and, hopefully, this demonetization/remonetization scam.

I do, but I’m a geezer. Last night was pretty spectacular. First of all, the nature of the President’s tweets as racist was a given—no debate, no question about it. Besides saying ‘racist’ many times, the text below the reporting read either “Trump defends racist tweets” or Congresswomen react to racist tweets.” And when you thought the story was over, she brought in a reporter ‘who has covered Trump since he announced his candidacy’ who thoughtfully reviewed all of the statements the President has made that the media have declared ‘racist’.

The thing is, my wife, who used to be pretty liberal, has in the last two years come to the conclusion that the networks and cable news are lying to us and have been for some time. It’s gotten to where she can’t stand to watch them anymore.

Maybe I’m optimistic but I think more are coming round to this awareness.

Last night’s broadcast reminded me of ‘ISN’, Interstellar Network News, on Babylon 5. News readers telling you ‘facts’ that are close to 180º from what you know to be the truth.
