But it sounds like he lived life on his own termsHe did, but it was kind of to the detriment of those around him. He kept that he was doing dialysis at home secret from my grandfather/his father. He unfortunately kept a lot of things in.

Most of what doctors and the medical establishment do to one is hardly pleasant. Yes in most cases it’s for your benefit but it is easy to see why some avoid it. Same with dentists.

its hard losing a parent, no matter how old....still feel like an orphan with parents living just into their 80's and that was 13 yrs ago.....
you can't go home again when your parents are gone.....

...life marches on no matter what, and a lot of it is not easy....
