Warren’s Blunder Killed The Democrats’ Case for More Impeachment Witnesses
Canada Free Press ^ | 02/03/20 | Mitch Wolfe

Posted on 02/03/2020 1:13:11 PM PST by Sean_Anthony

The foolish female senator from Massachusetts had inflicted a fatal wound on the Democrats’ impeachment monster

Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren’s obnoxious question, slamming the legitimacy of John Roberts, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, who was presiding over this Senate impeachment trial, was one of the pivotal moments in the Senate impeachment hearing. Warren’s totally inappropriate question turned the tide on the issue of additional witnesses, the only outstanding question, during the entire farce of the Senate impeachment trial against President Trump.

Another example of somebody who has demonstrated the validity of Peter’s Principle yet again. Gray Beaver has risen to the point of her incompetence, and in doing so, managed to talk WAY past her point in this dialogue.

Shrill will only get you so far in this world. And whatever that may gain, is lost altogether by inept and inappropriate remarks on the legitimacy of others.

Yes, the Senate could vote to give the Chief some judicial powers. IIRC, one of the many Dem proposals was to delegate extensive powers to him, which was defeated.

It was never the Democrats plan to get 67 votes to remove Trump.

Their plan was to get at least 51, with RINO help, then claim
that a “bipartisan majority” of the Senate voted to convict him.

They would then take that and run with it into the election cycle!

I don’t buy it. Lizzy’s question was leading, obnoxious, and foolish, but I don’t look at it as pivotal. Unless, you are focusing on possibly Murkowski and Alexander. All other minds were made up before the vote on witnesses.

Cruz and Graham said that both Murkowski and Alexander were considering voting in favor of witnesses, until Pocahonky’s rude and insulting question.

Democrats talk like that all the time. They are despicable and must be ignored unless they become violent. I’m sure Roberts ignored Warren because he knows she has a flawed character and is despicable.

“”It couldn’t have helped, but the realization that even stipulating the reporting on Bolton was true didn’t affect the charges was probably more decisive.””

Can’t say I understand what you’re saying there at the end but I am interested in knowing if there was a STIPULATION by the defense that the purported statement by Bolton as shifty said was true????? Been looking for an answer since late last Friday to WHO if anyone got up to rebut it!!

This is explained by Senators Graham and Cruz on Cruz’s podcast.

Very interesting conversation about several events in the impeachment trial.

Not boring either.

They didn’t stipulate that they were true. They argued that even if they were to stipulate that what the NYT reported about the Bolton manuscript were true for the purposes of argument, that did not change whether the events amounted to an impeachable offense. I think that was Dershowitz, and to a lesser extent, Philbin.

Liawatha's question made another point, which is she is a really crappy lawyer.

What does one expect from an Affirmative Action hustler?

The Wicked Witch Warren really did nothing, Except:

INSULT THE CHIEF JUSTICE, AND ALL THE SENATORS.

She is just as crazy as Schiff and Nadler, only a little prettier.

2 unforced errors by the Dems

Thank God that our enemies are so inept. Considering the vast spineless majority of our republican politicians, the incapacity of the pure evil on the left is the main force that preserves our freedom.
