When the CNN debuted in 1980, it soon earned a reputation as the top source for quick information 24 hours a day, all week long. That was 40 years ago and objective journalism is hard to find on the network in 2020. The liberal station has since fallen so far in the ratings that it was unable to generate even one program in the top 20 list during the first three months of 2020, which has been labeled a dismal first quarter.

This Old House reruns outperformed CNN.
A long slow fade.
Fox > CNN + MSNBC
The people who fund CNN do not care
Hope is rising that this dinosaur of a fake news network may be near extinction.
Can’t somebody figure out how to replace CNN in the airports?
A silver lining to the ChiCom virus madness.
Are airports still open?
Thank China.
“Oh, crap, come on.”
or
“You stupid m-f b##ch!”
Was it curse-curse (apologies to Whoopie) or exasperation?
If we ever get all three branches of government we need to pass a law that parent companies of news media can not use media losses as tax write offs, for tax purposes media must be stand alone.
30 years ago? Great! Now? Fox is probably left of what CNN used to be in its early days.
Good point. Maybe that’s why CNN’s ratings are so low. I was thinking about the future, after the pandemic is over and the US economy is booming again.
Fox turned to crap years ago.. perhaps not as bad as cnn or manbc, but when they went hot chicks in miniskirts they lost their edge on actually reporting news as well..
About the only channels worth anything anymore are the business news channels... Fox Business, CNBC etc... the rest are dreck
Most businesses labor to succeed, yet CNN seems to continue to bust its butt to fail. Being lost is seldom a matter of not knowing where you want to go, but most often a matter of not knowing where you are. Apparently CNN has a weird sense about where it wants to go, because the ratings are telling them very clearly exactly where the are. They seem to relish their status.
CNBC is a Democrat mainstream outlet.
I think Rick Santelli is the only remaining good guy now that MCC has left to run against AOC.
FBN is flushing good guys/girls too, sadly.
CNN PAYS the Airports to run it and I think they pay a lot. AT&T is willing pay all the airports to run CNN which no one watches at home. If you have AT&T anything dump it.
7T
Makes one wonder just how much CNN pumped up their fraudulent viewership numbers by counting the "captive" audience at the nation's airports.
So if AIRPORTS are closed WHO IS WATCHING CNN?
“The people who fund CNN do not care”
Who are they? I’ve been thinking that they must be Soros owned.
