Because the monarchy is a gilded cage. I thought everyone knew that. Meghan has raised her profile and Harry has escaped the cage, the question is whether these two will be able to leverage these things into successful social roles.
Tnhe one thing has nothing to do with the other. The American broom princess could not live up to her royal pretensions. She was graciously accepted into the most exclusive family on earth. She found its perameters too confining.
The snobbery of British culture will always be disdainful of the masses. There is no attempt to protect any rights of the hoi polloi. There is a growing contempt for royalty and the court culture by average Brits.
Of course. Liberty, Truth, and Justice are scorned and abhorred by those infected with the Decadence of Western Civilisation. Western Civilisation champions those things.
Meghan may have escaped the cage, but she has firmly caged Harry.
Yacht Girl didn’t “have to” come back to the US. She’s an obnoxious gold digging attention whore who quickly wore out her welcome in the UK.

The people of the Kingdom, in Britain, just like those in USA, must: come out of her, my people.
Come out of unlimited, corrupt, DC government. Come out of our man-made understandings of our government, religion and business.
Walk out of the facade and see. All that we thought we knew, mutated in our modern realm.
