What the Hell Was Stacey Abrams’ Plan?
Redstate ^ | Joe Cunningham

A little over a year ago, Stacey Abrams could’ve had anything she wanted. She was getting a lot of friendly media coverage; many people in the national Democratic Party and the media were disappointed that she lost to Brian Kemp in the Georgia gubernatorial race. She had liberal activists super excited about her future.

*snip*

So what happened to Stacey Abrams?

There’s a problem with blind ambition when it’s grouped with inexperience and a sense of entitlement. Abrams allies literally shouted down her primary opponent, Stacey Evans, demanding that the gubernatorial candidate be black. She got the nomination and went on to face Kemp. Throughout the race, her campaign was that she was a super progressive black woman. She felt entitled to the job, and to be fair, her time in the state’s legislature gave her a lot of experience in working with the governor as well as fighting Republicans.

But, she lost. She could not win her state. Despite record minority voter registration and election day minority turnout, she could not seal the deal. Despite that, she felt entitled to keep the spotlight. She insisted that she was the real governor, said Kemp’s name would always have an asterisk next to it, and kept herself in the Georgia and national spotlights.

The race was a massive blemish on her record, but she would not be denied. So, she decided she would put out feelers for the Senate race and the presidential race. The former kept Georgia media interested, the latter kept the national media interested. The problem is that she apparently wanted neither.

That's Stacey Abrams. Blind ambition and a sense of entitlement as big as her waistline.

I mean, why wouldn’t America want a PO’d, gap-toothed, fat, entitled, inexperienced, race-monger as VP?

She feels entitlement as a woman, entitlement as being black, entitlement as a black woman.

She feels that the Georgia governor’s election was stolen from her. She refused to ever concede; she has refused to recognize the legal authority of how our elections are conducted, and feels that the 2018 Georgia governor’s election was illegitimate.

And she says she has all this foreign policy experience, because she’s done a lot of independent study of foreign affairs for 25 years.

If that is the standard, I have more foreign policy experience than her. So would virtually everyone on this site.

Her sense of entitlement, her hubris, her throwing her weight around, seems to be rubbing some Democrats the wrong way.

Her throwing her weight around is a serious issue.

Her problem is her -- she's a loudmouthed, ignorant, bigoted, incompetent a-hole.

“...independent study of foreign affairs...”

Translation: she watches CNN at the airport.

...feels that the 2018 Georgia governor’s election was illegitimate

Because she didn't get additional votes as affirmative action for being black woman and a gap-tooth gap-brain socialist.

We seem to have trouble here in Georgia ridding ourselves of losing dem candidates - first Stacey "The Whale" Abrams and now John (Jack) ASSoff is running for senator after losing his run for congress.

That’s Violet Beauregard in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory— (the Gene Wilder version, not the remake.)
Greatest movie ever made.

Stacy bugged Joe Biden about being VP. She probably played the, you know what card. I don't think Joe appreciated that being a Southern Gentleman. I feel her pain.

Well the Aunt Jemima gig went south when Quaker Oats replaced her with a younger looking black broad so rather than look for actual work she decided to take a shot at politics.
