Saturday News Roundup: Trump Fires WHO, Russia Hoax Dead, Roberts Goes Rogue Again

Trump to WHO: You’re Fired! – President Donald Trump, outraged at the role the WHO played in helping China’s communist government conceal the real nature of the Wuhan Virus for several months, took final action with that corrupt globalist organization on Friday, completely removing the United States from its membership:

“China has total control over the World Health Organization despite only paying $40 million per year compared to what the United States has been paying, which is approximately $450 million a year,” Trump said during a news conference in the White House Rose Garden.

“The world needs answers from China on the virus. We must have transparency. Why is it that China shut off infected people from Wuhan to all other parts of China?” he added. “It didn’t go to Beijing, it went nowhere else, but they allowed them to freely travel throughout the world, including Europe and the United States.”

Naturally, RINO limp-wrists like Lamar Alexander were upset and disturbed by the move, because of course they were.

But then, WHO cares what they think? (See what I did there?)

The Russia Hoax breathes its last, dying gasp. – Thanks to the efforts of Ric Grenell and new Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, the Russia Hoax is now in hospice care, breathing its last, desperate breaths.

As promised, DNI Ratcliffe released the full transcripts and FBI summaries of the various calls General Mike Flynn conducted with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the 2016 transition period. His action came after Grenell had fully declassified the documents early this week. The calls show exactly what we should have expected: An incoming National Security Advisor holding calls with his Russian counterpart and having preliminary discussions on areas of mutual interest between our two countries.

The December 29, 2016 call that the Obama Coup Cabal and its corrupt media support group have claimed to be so concerning turns out to be a big nothing burger. During that call, when Kislyak raises the likelihood of Russia responding to Obama’s earlier expulsion of dozens of Russian “diplomats”, i.e., spies, Flynn advises him exactly as John F. Kennedy advised Nikita Kruschev during the Cuban Missile Crisis: to avoid ‘going nuclear’, and to respond in a “reciprocal” manner.

Naturally, the corrupt news media that has spent the last 4 solid years pushing the Russia hoax is today trying to convince you all that Flynn’s reply here is some sort of treasonous act. That is, of course, utterly absurd.

There is nothing wrong with that call, and we now know with 100% certainty that the Obama Administration – including Obama himself – went after Flynn for the simple fact that Flynn knows where all the bodies are buried with relation to Obama’s efforts to prop up Iran. Those corrupt bastards sold their souls and our national security to the Islamic state, and they could not countenance having Flynn as Trump’s National Security Advisor.

The most poignant part of reading the transcripts is that we see Flynn and Kislyak discussing the very real areas of mutual interest the U.S. and Russia had at the time related to destroying ISIS, stabilizing Syria and dealing with the Iranian threat. By mounting the Russia hoax, the Obama Coup Cabal and its media support team threw all of that potential good away, making it impossible for the Trump Administration to truly engage with Russia on those matters, and making our nation less secure in the name of protecting Obama, John Kerry and everyone else involved in the Iran deal.

This must not go unpunished. The Russia Hoax is dead, and it is now time for William Barr and John Durham to start extracting some justice.

Meet John Roberts, the new Anthony Kennedy. – Just when Americans all over the country are getting ready to go back to church, Chief Justice John Roberts decides to side with the communists.

In a 5-4 decision late Friday evening, Roberts sided with the four “liberal” – as the corrupt media likes to call them – justices in upholding the draconian, science-devoid restrictions on religious freedom being imposed by California Governor Gavin Newsom. Here’s the key passage from the decision:

Although California’s guidelines place restrictions on places of worship, those restrictions appear consistent with the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment. Similar or more severe restrictions apply to comparable secular gatherings, including lectures, concerts, movie showings, spectator sports, and theatrical performances, where large groups of people gather in close proximity for extended periods of time. And the Order exempts or treats more leniently only dissimilar activities, such as operating grocery stores, banks, and laundromats, in which people neither congregate in large groups nor remain in close proximity for extended periods.

[End]

Thus does the majority of the U.S. Supreme Court uphold dramatic restrictions on the absolute freedom of religion guaranteed in the First Amendment by equating your church, synagogue, temple or mosque to the local Kiwanis Club.

If you are not outraged by this, I really don’t know what to say to you.

That is all.

Civil disobedience is the logical next step for “people of faith”. However, there is a big “if”. If churches and Christians fear God more than they fear government, they will resist and ignore restrictions. Sadly, I observe that most churches and ministers seem to rush headlong into submission to every ridiculous demand from petty tyrants.

John Roberts appears to have sold himself out just as the members of the previous Administration.

The Supreme Court, thanks to Roberts, has become a joke as far as the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Unfortunately the Supreme Court has been a joke to the Constitution and Bill of Rights long before Roberts.

Well, Justice Roberts, does that mean the rioters, who are clearly not respecting “social distancing” should be (finally) arrested?

Does your decision also mean breaking up prayers at mosques, of which there are many under tin pot dictator Gaven Newsom?

Or does it only mean Christian Churches?

Roberts is not going rogue. That is who he is. He is the true replacement for Kennedy. He wants to be the “swing” vote so he gets noticed and written about. Replace RBG with a Thomas Conservative and Roberts will either become a solid Conservative or a hard core Leftie.

Stevens, Souter, Kennedy, O’Connor, and Roberts, all appointed by Republican presidents who went left on the Supreme Court. Are there ANY examples of justices appointed by Democrat presidents who went right on the court? Any?

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

___________

When the U.S. Constitution was ratified, the tenuously-bound group of thirteen nascent North American states (Vermont not being among them, Mark Levin!) capitalized on their natural fraternal bonds, made even stronger by their collective effort and sacrifice during the recent war for independence, by knitting themselves into a demonstrably stronger federation. But besides committing to guaranteeing to the residents of each sovereign state a republican (small “r”) form of government, they did not place any new restrictions on their respective state legislatures, or on the men who held the office of governor in the several states. The U.S. Constitition, and the first ten amendments thereto (which, during the state ratification debates, Madison practically swore a blood oath to propound and get passed and sent to the states for ratification once the first U.S. Congress convened, and on which promise Madison came through within the first year of the first Congress, despite a broad-based lack of interest among his Congressional colleagues) applied to the U.S. federal government only, and not to the states. This was not a technicality or a glitch, either. It was a prominent feature of the new constitution, essential to its prospects for future ratification. In fact, multiple states had state religions (some de facto, but at least one formally or de jure), respecting the establishment of which the new U.S. Congress was specifically forbidden from passing any law. Even the post-Civil War amendments to the federal constitution, which by virtue of a series of subsequent decisions the U.S. Supreme Court declared that the bulk of the First Amendment’s protections on individual and group-based rights of citizens now applied also to state government actors and officeholders, never eliminated the police power held by each state over the citizens in its respective jurisdiction. That’s not to say that the police power hasn’t been cabined-in to some extent by the First Amendment as now applied to a given state—it definitely has. But governors who dot their i’s and cross their t’s can be accorded by the courts a surprising degree of freedom and latitude in terms of imposing significant, albeit temporary, restrictions on those rights during emergency conditions. The “during” part is obviously crucial. As the facts on the ground during a so-called emergency change, and the court can observe that the immediate peril and concomitant urgency that gave rise to those restrictions have clearly subsided, those same restrictions, previously held to be constitutional and valid, will be deemed unconstitutional and invalid and struck down on that basis. That’s when a governor is behaving predictably and properly, mind you. The courts can sniff out an out-of-control tyrant governor, and, if they themselves are functioning properly, will strike down arbitrary or clearly out-of-scale restrictions as soon as they get the chance, forcing the governor to change gears and ratchet back such restrictions or, taking a broader view, devise and and implement a new regime of restrictions that can pass judicial muster because it refrains from blatantly singling out a small category of rights (e.g., freedom to exercise one’s religion) for persecution in a way that seems to show that the supposed “need to act during a emergency” that the state typically claims in such cases is not the true motivation, but instead is being proferred as a mere smokescreen to hide one or more nefarious or discriminatory purposes. After all, if the state government or governor are determined to push back on or down on 1st Amendment religious rights in favor of growing, stifling secular influence in society, or if their true goal is to produce tyrrany, and if they choose to bully the general population into refraining from practicing their rights to free association, at least in part by placing draconian limits on their ability to gather together in their true numbers and thus hobble their collective power to influence their elected state representatives or governor via protests or petitions of specific grievances, we wouldn’t expect them to admit this openly, would we?
