It didn’t surprise the informed, and understandably a bit cynical, to hear that the FBI sat on Hunter Biden’s laptop instead of seeking justice. The bureau was previously involved in an illegal plot to take down Donald Trump, after all, and its Deep State elements would assuredly love to see Joe Biden succeed him in January. So why would they reveal damning information on their establishment hope? Yet suppressing Huntergate perhaps provided a secondary benefit:
The information could be used against Biden once he was in office.
This wouldn’t be anything new. It’s believed that longtime, legendary FBI director J. Edgar Hoover used “dirt files” on politicians for leverage; for one thing, it’s said, this enabled him to remain bureau head for as long as he wished. William Sullivan, once the number three official under Hoover, put it this way: From the moment the director got damning information on a senator, the man would be “right in his pocket.”
So not only could suppressing Huntergate get Biden in office, but then maybe it’s, “Nice presidency you’ve got there, Mr. Biden — I’d hate to see anything happen to it.”
Since the criminality in question could, apparently, put Hunter in prison along with destroying China Joe, the leverage is profound. It could not only be used to control Biden but also his wife, Jill, in the unlikely event she for a time is able to pull off an Edith Wilson (who supposedly ran the show when Woodrow Wilson became incapacitated). She wouldn’t want to see her family’s reputation ruined, after all, and we in addition have to wonder about her level of complicity...

If the intrepid computer repairman kept quiet, and Biden won, I could imagine Wray taking Biden aside and describing what he has, to keep Biden in line. Comey tried something like that with Trump. It is considerably more effective when the crimes and evidence are real.

I’m getting fed up with this all because there are many claims of photos/videos of Hunter raping and mistreating Chinese minors. IF this is true, I would think he would have been arrested days ago.
Listening to Rush today he said the “events of this election hasn’t been revealed yet”. Rudy and Bannon say we haven’t seen anything yet.

If it’s not coming from Giuliani or the NY Post, who have access to all the data, then why would you give it any more credence than any random claim made anonymously on the internet?

How about: The computer repair shop work order says 3 laptops. The subpoena says 1 laptop and 1 hard drive.

I’m beginning to believe that this is the case. It’s nothing more than a hunch and I could be 100% wrong :-). How would you feel if someone close to you was using you to get rich while, at the same time, corrupting the entire nation via CCP propaganda. It’d be even worse if that person was your father.
There’s a lot more to this ... I can’t buy he simply left his laptop there no matter how cracked up he may have been. If he was under the influence, it might have been a quick hit to calm himself and take the laptop in.

This is Hunter Biden we are talking about here. Back during the Obama administration he abandoned a rental car in Prescott Arizona and forgot he left a crackpipe, cocaine, his cell phone, wallet with credit cards, his ID, and an Attorney General’s badge in the car.
So keep that in mind when evaluating whether Hunter abandoning a laptop full of evidence is uncharacteristic of him.
Apparently, one laptop could not be saved and its hard drive could not be retrieved.
That left one hard drive and one laptop.
The shop owner made copies of both prior to turning them over to the FBI.
Someday there should be a statue of this computer repair guy. The man who saved the Republic of the United States of America.
At minimum a medal of freedom.
I am beginning to think that maybe the FBI brass wanted it hidden but someone in the rank and file played them and made sure the laptop would end up where it would actually see the light of day.
The one laptop was beyond repair, according to the computer repair guy and I guess Hunter took it back with him or the computer guy sent it to the laptop graveyard.
The other just needed a new keyboard or replacement of keys or something like that and the repair guy fixed it right away and right back it went to Hunter.
Only the third laptop was ever left because it could be repaired but would take some time to repair.
The computer repair guy said he called Hunter a few times to say the laptop was fixed and ready to be picked up, so why wouldn’t Hunter get it? Even if he didn’t remember dropping it off, he would know it was missing and when someone at a computer repair shop says he has it, why wouldn’t Hunter start to remember that’s where he brought it?
Unless Hunter thought he was being set up and the computer repair shop was a front for investigators.
Or maybe Hunter accidentally gave out the wrong phone number for himself and the repair shop guy didn’t know this for sure because he kept getting a “You have reached 555.5555” type greeting and couldn’t be sure if he was calling the right guy or not.
Did the shop owner say that he knew he was reaching the voicemail of the right person?
