Representatives Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Jody Hice (R-GA), and members of the House Freedom Caucus are calling on Attorney General William Barr to conduct a forensic audit of the 2020 election.
Biggs accused Barr of being “missing in action” after suggesting a request had been made a month ago that he conduct an investigation into allegations of voter fraud.
“I feel that [Barr] is missing in action,” accused Biggs. “The reality is that he is capable, he’s qualified and he’s got a department of capable, qualified individuals. We need them in action from about a month ago. We are running out of time. He needs to get them going.”

The Republican lawmakers’ demands for a forensic audit of the election come on the same day that President Trump’s legal team released a video of what they claim are poll workers pulling out ‘suitcases’ of ballots in Georgia.
Volunteer attorney Jackie Pick accused poll workers in the video of counting those same ballots after witnesses had been cleared from the room.
The video’s context has been disputed, but Hice found it to be compelling enough to call out the Department of Justice.
At Thursday’s press conference, Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX) indicated just how important accountability in the election is for the American people.
“What’s he [Barr] actually doing?” he asked. “Why are election materials and voting machines not being gathered and preserved for investigation?”
“This is not A hill to die on, this is THEE hill to die on,” Weber concluded.

The guys who spent 4 years pursuing a case with no evidence? The guys who investigated a door rope for being a hate symbol?
Barr has a department of Holder’s people, they have no interest in discovering the fraud that their allies are committing.
At this point all I see is political show with words being unleashed instead of actions.
A facts and findings report must be compiled. Dominion needs a new product sales brochure.
A.G. Barr is fat and happy. He does not need the attacks from media if he got involved.
Jody Hice is MY Congressman. I am glad to hear that he is constantly fighting US.
This should be interesting.
Verily, varily, I say unto thee...
This is an email that I received from Jody Hice on December 4th.
Where is the Justice Department?
Dear Friends,
All Americans expect our elections to be free and fair. Fighting for the integrity of our elections isn’t and shouldn’t be a partisan, political issue. In the wake of the November elections, unfortunately, millions of Americans have lost confidence in that system. Our nation is in turmoil – and it will remain so until we can restore people’s faith in our elections.
Nowhere is this more true than right here in Georgia. I have spoken with hundreds of Georgians who have deep concerns – and I wholly share their frustration and disappointment. Regardless of their politics, Georgians, like all Americans, want three straightforward things: free and fair elections; honest counts of legal ballots; and rigorous investigations of fraud and irregularities.
From the Governor and Secretary of State to the entire State Legislature and all the county elections officials, elected officials in Georgia have a huge amount of work to do to root out the fraud, correct the mistakes, and ensure this never happens again.
With that being said, however, there is a clear role here for the U.S. Department of Justice. Here is just one example. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has opened investigations into liberal groups like Stacey Abrams’ New Georgia Project for allegedly registering illegal voters to sway the outcome of the two Senate runoff races currently underway. If true, these liberal groups are in clear violation of multiple federal laws.
This week, I joined dozens of fellow House Republicans in calling on U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr to act aggressively and swiftly to take action in Georgia and elsewhere in the country. Every single illegal ballot dilutes and diminishes the voice of a rightful, legal voter. We do not have months or years to leisurely poke and prod at these allegations. We cannot wait on the slow bureaucrat machinery to catch up to the wrongdoing that is potentially happening in real-time on the ground. A second critical election is taking place in just four weeks in Georgia that will decide the balance of power in the United States Senate.
On behalf of my constituents and all Georgians, I implore the Attorney General to take aggressive and speedy action NOW. Again, this isn’t a partisan political issue. Addressing the seemingly countless allegations of fraud and irregularities impacts the future of the entire country, not just one political party or the other.
Yeah great. Another “investigation”. Seventeen years later....
He’s doing stuff...he is going to lower the boom any day now!
Oh wait, that’s what i use to say about Sessions.
Maybe they can be like rusty and start a cut and paste clickbait mens recreation blog.

US Reps want Barr to investigate voter fraud in the election.https://t.co/Xva7l16Xgz

“The only way we will know is if they have federal investigators in now and do an audit,” Kentucky Rep. Andy Barr said. “Votes were counted in secret, and we want to know why; we implore you, Barr, to work on this.”
Tensions Flaring Over Barr’s Inaction
Tensions have been flaring for some time now between Republicans concerned about election integrity and a dormant Department of Justice.
That tension came to a head when Barr told the Associated Press that he had “not seen” evidence of widespread voter fraud.
“To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election,” Barr claimed.
The President’s legal team put out a statement of response almost immediately.
“With all due respect to the Attorney General, there hasn’t been any semblance of a Department of Justice investigation,” they wrote. “We have gathered ample evidence of illegal voting in at least six states, which they have not examined.”
Shortly thereafter, a DOJ official sought to clarify the report.
“Some media outlets have incorrectly reported that the Department has concluded its investigation of election fraud and announced an affirmative finding of no fraud in the election,” the official said.
“That is not what the Associated Press reported nor what the Attorney General stated.”
what the Attorney General stated. The Department will continue to receive and vigorously pursue all specific and credible allegations of fraud as expeditiously as possible.” @ClareHymes22 @CBSNews

“The Department will continue to receive and vigorously pursue all specific and credible allegations of fraud as expeditiously as possible,” they advised.
But the damage seems to have already been done.
Gohmert, when asked if he had confidence in Barr responded, “I used to.”
President Trump also gave an indication that Barr better get moving on a forensic audit of the election.
When asked if he had confidence in Barr he replied, “Ask me that in a number of weeks from now.”
“He hasn’t done anything. He hasn’t looked (for fraud in the Georgia election),” Trump continued.

If this seized German server story is true, then Trump must call in the military on Wednesday to begin tribunals. If they really were watching the theft occur in real time in the Eisenhower room of the WH, then they have all the communication between the conspirators directing that the voting be stopped and the machines recalibrated and the fake ballots to manufactured/trucked in while expelling all Republican observers.
Time to start the trials for sedition and treason, with the first one being Eric Coomer.
They can call BARR into action as much as they want. It doesn’t mean he’ll DO anything. It’s that old “lead a horse to water” thing.
Don’t we have any willing mercenaries to hunt down the criminals, do surveillance, “interrogate” them, etc.?
Can Trump just fire Barr and put in someone with integrity and competence?
THEE hill as opposed to THE hill /s
Totally agree, this is the hill to die on.
It's far too late. Even if he put in a patriot, the DoJ is full of swamp rats who will not obey the new head and just run out the clock.
And if all of that is true (not saying it is not), why on earth are they not bringing this forward? Why was this not brought forward a week ago or later?
They are running out of time...not legally or constitutionally, but the longer they wait, the easier it will be for the Leftists/communists in this country to yell, “A desperate last ditch effort, throwing a hail Mary, pathetic clutching at straws” etc.
And unfortunately, though the Dec. 14 date is not in the USC (and is only Federal Law, which can be suspended for something like this) the brainwashed minds in this country do think that is the deadline, that the next president is “established” on that date.
Waiting until it is too close to or past that date makes it nearly impossible to reverse course.
