Bitcoin blew through the old All Time High on news of repeated institutional investments.
I tried. From my cell phone and from my desktop. I entered the verification code but in both cases I got an error message that it was not from a trusted device and I need to wait 48 hours.
“My initial investment was $2800 in 2013. It is well into six figures today.”

I just remembered. I have a coin base app. So I tried signing into that, I entered the verification code. Nada. Still need to wait 48 hours.
Well, the trillions in new money created this summer is going to end up somewhere. It doesn't increase prices by an equal percentage across all assets.
If it’s been two years, 48 hours isn’t going to matter. You can just calculate the long term cap gains taxes in the mean time! Not a bad problem to have.
Not quite that much. But nearing “deep” into six figures.
You’ve got me curious. I went into bitcoin with money that I could afford to lose. And I lost. But now if you say it’s rebounded, then I will take another look. In 46 hours. I’ll let you know what I find out.

I mine Ethereum with 30 video cards on 3 mining rigs. I have about 30k invested and am looking at 50k in profit... and my rigs are a churning out crypto coin.

Yep it’s all computer operated nobody owns anything it’s like owning gold but not in hand but you get a some paper work to show you have it.
Good evening. The 48 hours is up. I was finally able to log into coinbase and check the value of my bitcoin portfolio. As a reminder in January 2019, basically two years ago I had a balance of $40.90 worth of bitcoin. As of today, with no additional bitcoin being bought, the value is $256.63.

Not exactly. See the link and post 28. I originally had $200 invested.
The value dropped down to $40.00 two years ago. But now that I think about it, i’m not ready to give up on the idea of bitcoin. I just bought in another hundred dollars.
Imagine that with 20+ coins.
And it’s up a couple percent a day lately.
I will be watching this.
Just went over $23,200.
