Everyone knows it's your real job is to get people to believe lies. Only really stupid people actually believe you, and your real role is to cover the Middle, where the window dressing is the lies. Only the really educated people believe at that level. Then the right-thinking people who could be confused have to be handled by more sophisticated means. But everyone knows that you were lying.

I watched the speech and today read the transcript. Liberals do neither. They read the headlines at CNN and MSNBC. This is all Trump said about going to the Capital:
