We are in a war in which our Iranian enemy had pleaded with unspecified individuals or groups for help removing President Donald Trump from office. There were even unofficial reward offers, such as a multi-million dollar bounty , for killing President Trump.
The Democrats' attempt to use impeachment to remove President Trump from office would have given our Iranian enemy's leaders what they said they wanted . Wouldn't that mean the Democrats would have given aid and comfort to our Iranian enemy? Isn't giving our enemy ''Aid and Comfort " what the Constitution calls "treason" ( Art III Sec 3) ?
Will Senators who vote Donald Trump " guilty" be committing treason ( giving our enemy ''Aid and Comfort ") by telling our Iranian enemies they will no longer have to worry about dealing with President Donald Trump?

It's too much of a stretch to say impeaching Trump for a riot he didn't incite, is Treason because Trump stood up to Iran.

OK—Just for the sake of argument—say they win and they ban Trump from ever holding a Federal elective office/ In 2022, when the House and Senate swing back to the GOP, they can just cancel it all out. If Trump can’t run, he will put up his son, Don Jr. for president and when he wins appoint his father as Sec. of State. Besides the whole trial will be tossed out as unconstitutional (Even Justice Roberts couldn’t block that).

No. Impeachment conviction does NOT have to meet the same level of criminality as other courts.
93 senators however WERE guilty of treason by not voting to challenge clearly fraudulent electors.
EVERYTHING the congress and senate does from that point forward is criminal and illegitimate as far as i’m concerned.
The republic is DEAD. The constitution is meaningless.
