DuckDuckGo Search isn't giving Image Search Option. I have tried to find out how to contact them, but the only links I can find are on social sites (which I don't use), and Reddit, which I won't sign up for.

I have been having this issue since I bought this laptop (back in January);
Also, using Brave for the browser.

I have turned off all of the protection/ad blockers/script blockers/etc. for DuckDuckGo (and FreeRepublic) ONLY. All other sites still have the blockers active.

I cannot track down what the problem is, and I have finally given up trying to track it down, as I have also been using the search engines to see if anyone else has the same problem. I haven't found a single soul that has the same issue, so, I am turning to fellow FReepers to see if anyone else may have any ideas how to get it back up and working.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

My computer is plugged in, and it is also turned on. No sign of any Beebers or stuners...

It’s working for me.

I’m using Chrome.

I went to duckduckgo.
I then selected images.
I clicked on the camera icon in the search bar.
I was able to upload an image.
And it came back with results.

By the way. A google logo appears to the left of the search bar and the results are identical to what the google site gives.

I’m using Brave with DuckDuckGo and no problem with an image search. I just searched for a recipe for dinner.

The screen capture (picture) in the Thread Opening is from my computer view of DuckDuckGo on my Brave browser.
There is NO image option... nor Videos, News, Maps, Shopping.

Look at the picture... none of those there.

Have you tried another browser? Maybe Brave is the problem?

The posted results on that website, and all of the other ones, do not match what I was searching for. They all (I guess) were for stupid people who couldn’t read the word “images” on the search results, which mine doesn’t have the “images” option.

Actually, I did.. and I did it because of the image problem I described above. Unfortunately, it didn't change the outcome. I also went to the "settings" URL, but it also made no difference.

Just type in whatever you are searching for and then click the images link on that search results page.

Works for me. I use Brave and DDG, however I’m on a Linux Ubuntu 18.04 laptop. If you are on Windows good luck if you are trying to do anything on Windows.
Dual boot your laptop and switch to Linux if you want to do anything interesting.

Duckduckgo has been my default search engine for a long time. I just tried an image search. No problem.

Just tried with Chromium.
It works like it is supposed to.
Seems that the only issue on this PC is Brave using DDG.

I always add the word pictures to my search argument. Such as: Kenny Rogers pictures.

Using crappy search engines doesn’t make you virtuous.

Just makes you lame.

Yeah, I have Dual Boot (Linux KDE/WinBlows10).
You are also correct that I am on the WinBlows half that is giving me problems. (chuckle ;^))

Just tried it with Brave browser and it worked just fine, but I do have to add the word pictures. 8>)
