Just from reading the excerpt, it was not the Seattle Police who ‘spit in the face of Franklin Graham’ but rather the Seattle Police Chief. He obviously dances to the tune that the city government calls and I think it obvious what the Seattle City government apparently values.
After the Chief’s statement I doubt if any employee of the SPD would dare to accept the invitation.

You are correct. Too many lily-livered people in the pews are afraid to stand up for what is right. Pastors are also to blame.
It is rare to hear a sermon denouncing the evil going on in our nation. Rare.
People like to sit back and have a “render under to Caesar what is Caesars” mentality.
I, along with many other conservatives, live in Seattle. And no I cannot leave as my 2 children live here (mother has custody) Should I be wiped out?
I fear persecution of Christians is not far off. The hatred of God is getting more and more intense. Historically this is nothing new. America was so blessed to have freedom of religion. I think we took it for granted since we were born with this freedom, as were our parents, grandparents etc.
It is persecution that brought the Pilgrims and others like them to settle here. Now.....there is nowhere to escape to if needs be.
This is what you get when you hire only Lefties: contempt and hate. Lesson to be learned, we can no longer trust govt officials. We must assume they are all compromised to the Lefty agenda.
To prove you point, look no futher than the nearest lock down state. when they ease up on restrictions, churches are never reopened.
