In 2020, the proposition that COVID-19 countermeasures would come to include forced vaccination and vaccine passports, resulting in a segregated society where only those participating in the COVID injection experiment have human rights, was labeled a wild conspiracy theory unworthy of discussion.
Fast-forward to Aug. 2, 2021, and Forbes announces, “No Vax, No Service: Here’s Where Bars and Restaurants Across U.S. Are Requiring Proof of Vaccination.”
No jab, no dining
According to Forbes, high-profile restaurant chains like Shake Shack and Union Square Hospitality are leading the way, requiring all staff and indoor diners in New York City and Washington D.C. to prove they’ve received the required doses of COVID-19 injections, starting Sept. 7.
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio hailed the decision, saying others will follow — and indeed, they did, with de Blasio himself announcing Aug. 3, that proof of vaccination will be mandatory for all indoor dining, visiting gyms, and going to movie theaters in the city:
“This is a miraculous place literally full of wonders,” Mr. de Blasio said. “If you’re vaccinated, all that’s going to open up to you. But if you’re unvaccinated, unfortunately, you will not be able to participate in many things.”

Because it not “just a vaccine”. There are legitimate questions being raised that the Jab Nazis are NOT answering.
We have had, world wide Covid deaths out 1.4 million deaths out of a population of 7.674 billion. That right there indicates the hysteria and fraudulent nature of this naked attack on the 1st Amendments “freedom of association” under the fraudulent claim of necessary “public safety”
For this we are being told we have to suspend basic legal protections, as well as basic medical safety practices, to use the whole world as a human test trial for an unproven new type of vaccination process.
This is not about vaccines working. It about using a whole new type of vaccine, that failed every previous clinical trial, without adequate safe guards

They would like to head in this direction it seems. Probably not this time but someday.
I think the implication of that sentence is that we are moving in that direction. Not all of those things mentioned have happened, but there are concerns we are heading in the direction of imposing vaccine passport regulations on more and more activities of life.
I drove to the grocery store this morning, shopped and returned. I didn’t wear a mask and I was not asked about vax status.

It is a string of assumptions based in little fact.
It is the slippery slope assumption. You are correct, assumptions are being made in such predictions.
You believe that none of that will ever happen? Some vaccine passport requirements are already being imposed, such as those in New York City.
I would love to come back to this thread in a year or two, and be proven to have been completely wrong about fears of what is yet to come. I would love to come back and tell you that you were completely correct that all of these fears are overblown.

Where you got confused, apparently, is that the writer decided to narrate in the present tense for something that has not yet occurred. That, and speaking of past events in the present tense, are pet peeves if mine. If only my English teachers could see me now...I have become a full-fledged Grammar Nazi.

You do realize that mandatory vaccinations imposed by local governments were found to be Constitutional in 1907 by the US Supreme Court?
Perhaps you forgot the mandatory vaccinations you or your children were required to begin schooling?
