You got your ballot, followed the instructions, put it in your mailbox to send in plenty of time.
WHAT could go wrong???
HELLO! POSTAL carriers are DEMOCRATS...83% !!! The letter carrier sees your ballot envelope and the TRUMP sign in your yard..
Seriously??? Do you think that ballot is EVER going to be counted?
WAKE UP.
THIS is how they vote.... What could be dumber than handing your ballot over to the enemy!??

YESSSS! When I lived in WA state for 17 years, all voting was by mail, but I always dropped my ballot in the collection lock box on day of election.

Been doing this for decades.

Mail in ballots are tracked. You can determine when it was received by the registrar.
I don’t like mail in balloting, but it’s here. Completely ceding that to the Democrats isn’t smart.
We should start using their weapons against them. Is your granny in a nursing home and can’t go to the polls? Take her a mail in ballot and help her fill it out. Don’t cede the ground to the Democrats.

They aren’t in Oregon. And what good does that do anyway? YOU can’t identify YOUR ballot after it’s opened.

I not only vote in person, I drop it into the paper scanner and see the number of scanned ballots tick up by 1.
Now whether or not the vote count software after that does some fuzzy math, I dunno.

Agreed. If I do mail in, it goes into the box directly at my bipartisan town hall.

I don’t know about other States, but here in NJ there is/was a website where one could see confirmation that his ballot was received. (I was forced to vote by mail in 2020 and I checked. First it was not received, and then it was.)

Yes it is easier for them to cheat if you mail it in. It is still easy for them to cheat even if you drop it off. There are many ways they can cheat with any absentee ballot.

In my jurisdiction, I get an email from the county clerk when my completed ballot is received by the clerk’s office.

The "fuzzy math" is my real problem. As a software developer, I know how easy it is to time/date trigger software to behave differently depending on the time and date. I could write software in my sleep that would kick out or mis-count a (R) vote ONLY on election day or a subset of hours during election day BUT behave correctly during controlled audit runs before the election or after the election. Easy to do and untraceable with access to the source code OR a hand recount of the actual ballots (not the totals from the machines). Of course, the manufacturers of the machines won't let any look at the source code...Proprietary. You could also time/date trigger the vote weighting (1.3 for them, .7 for the other guy). So many nefarious things can go on inside the coding.
That's why I won't trust another election until the source code is verified by both parties and independent software analysts and the verified object code is checksummed with the ability for independent voting machine watchers to verify the checksum ANY time during the vote tabulations to ensure the object code checksum has not changed (think remote access). Hard core. Yes. Necessary. Also Yes.
