The white nationalist group is notoriously secretive and optics-obsessed. But now, the mask is off.
For years, many members of the white nationalist group Patriot Front have mostly managed to keep their identities under wraps.
But now, the mask is off. Thirty-one members of the notoriously secretive, optics-obsessed group, including their leader, were arrested in Idaho over the weekend. And mugshots and names of all 31 arrestees were released by the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office.
The group was traveling in the back of a U-Haul on Saturday, apparently headed to downtown Coeur d’Alene where an annual LGBTQ Pride event (and a far-right counter-event) was underway, when they were intercepted by local law enforcement.
Coeur d’Alene police said that a “concerned citizen” called the cops when they noticed a group who resembled “a little like an army” clambering into the back of a U-Haul with shields.
Video footage showed police rolling up the rear door to reveal men packed like sardines into the back of the truck. All the men were in Patriot Front uniform—khakis, navy jackets, sunglasses, caps, gloves, and white balaclavas covering their faces.

I only saw one person with his mask removed at the arrest scene (he was being processed). He had a beard, but didn’t quite look like the bearded one in the pictures. Anyone see anyone else’s face? I’m wondering if any of those in the pictures were even in Idaho.
What exactly did they do wrong?
What specifically is the crime?
Some of these people were in Charlottesville with vanguard years ago.
Actually I thought the tiki torch mob at Charlottesville were cosplayers also...so...fits...

A few of them look a little young to be FBI agents but the Feds may be on-boarding more youthful applicants these days.
In the end, the charges will be quietly dropped and they will never see the inside of a courtroom, and will stay employed.

Perhaps half a dozen appear to be possibly IQ 100+.
I hope the FBI can do better.

We were all young once... few take ‘good mugshots.’ I suspect the facial hair is their idea of ‘cover.’ They probably believe the public assumes FBI agents are all as clean shaven as Jack Webb...
So where are the 10 others? Plants?
