John Fetterman’s campaign might be the first in history to unleash an October surprise on themselves. There’s a reason opponents wait until right before Election Day to drop opposition research: It’s devastating.
This week, we were treated to a clinic on why it’s better to get bad news out early and in small doses. By hiding the truth about the state of his condition following a devastating stroke last May, and pinning their hopes on an October 25 debate performance, Fetterman didn’t just jeopardize his campaign—or which party controls the U.S. Senate—he also cast a pall on the Democratic Party’s hopes just two weeks before the midterms.

In today’s world, Democrats are often (ironically) cursed by having friendly press coverage. This lack of accountability creates a false sense of reality. Instead of believing they could effectively run out the clock, the Fetterman campaign would have been better served by a press who forced their candidate’s problems into the open.
Instead, by tapdancing around the issue and accepting the campaign’s stonewalling, the mainstream media generally (with a few exceptions) lulled him to a disastrous place.
After a year of leading in the polls, his status as the frontrunner is in jeopardy. Now that it’s crunch time, his campaign could fracture and implode.
It’s always the cover-up that gets you.

Politico? Man, Fetterman must really be in big trouble. Politico gave up on the troll.
One thing I’ll NEVER understand is why he didn’t just skip out of the debate (or even try to stall it for a few more days of early voting, then skip out). After all, he was going up against a TV personality, which is hard enough on its own, and beyond that, Biden PROVED that a candidate with brain damage can still win (discounting the cheating factor, of course).

Disingenuous to say the least They were half a million votes already cast with hundreds of thousands in the mail the night of the “debate”. Then there is the 240,000 ballots to mystery voters. The SOS is going to ignore a Supreme Court ruling and count ballots with no date. The rats risked nothing putting Shrek on the air.
They never ask, "Why are we running a completely mentally unfit person for an extremely complex and important job?" or "Why the fk am I and my party still hoping he wins?!"
Answering the second question honestly should make a good person rethink their whole political world view.

F Politico, but that’s a pretty good line.
I am guessing that the plan was to get Fetterman elected, and then assuming the Democrat wins the Governorship, have him appoint the one that they really want.
I hope the fraud of hiding the seriousness of his disability is investigated. Many lies were told to cover. He pretended to be out campaigning while he was in the hospital and press knew, but covered. If that isn’t illegal, it should be.
I was almost afraid to watch the debate because they have never set the bar so low, it was on the ground. All he had to do is read the questions and submit a couple complete sentences. He failed and was much worse than even I expected.
It’s like they go to any length to hide their lies..and cheating

The PA GOP is weak beyond description. The rat SOS announced she is ignoring a SC ruling two weeks ago. They have done absolutely nothing about it
