After hearing Ye's declaration of hatred for the Jewish people, Ms. Omar immediately purchased an entire wardrobe of his clothing to show her support. Not to defend West but he was making a point that the media/liberals will take anything you say and use it against you, and take things out of context and warp it to fit their agenda. Anti-semitism is rampant in the black community and has been for generations. So now we're supposed to be offended by what Kanye West said while giving a complete pass to the exact same behavior that other blacks have exhibited currently and in the past?
Yes, what West said was wrong but let's not pretend that a whole bunch of other black celebrities aren't out there making the exact same points, if only a little more deftly.
