Fun fact about Compton, CA: It was once heavily (75%) Black when it had horrific crime. Blacks have been fleeing out since the 1980s, and now it’s over 2/3rds Hispanic.

Most of them, the larger ones at least, and the ones with non-White majorities.

At least I’m nowhere near any of the cites listed.

I do not know, but, Chattanooga is a really nice little town.
From what I know, it WAS a very rough town, years ago, that the city fathers chose to to try and turn around. It is situated on a beautiful river, and they started from there.
Grown kids live there now, we have visited multiple times, and LOVE it. Very nice people, friendly and comfortable, nice restaurants abd some shops and street markets.

What a depressing list. The uniparty sent all our jobs overseas and let in illegals to lower wages and hollow out the middle class. Mission accomplished.

What a horribly written and disorganized pile of nonsense. Also, why did they put a picture of the Portland, OR train station into the entry for Grants Pass, OR?

With respect to Huntsville, TX, the author makes the point that people on Death Row are likely to be unhappy. It isn’t something that would have occurred to me...

Having stayed near the train station in Newark on three occasions, using the PATH train to visit Manhattan, and having visited Trenton on my battlefields tour last year, I can attest they are both pits. I grew up in Stockton. It sits on the edge of the San Joaquin delta, about 80
Miles east of San Francisco. 12 feet above sea level. The best thing that could be done to improve it would be to bulldoze its levees and allow it to revert to swamp.

Born in Gary (same hospital as Michael Jackson and my only claim to fame), had tons of family in Hammond, IN (grew up in a Chicago burb about 20 minutes away) and went to Grad School in Cleveland.

Loved them all but esp. Cleveland.

35 years ago, I was at a 4 way stop light (The only one I ever seen in my life!)

My light turned green but I had to make a left turn into a lot right after the light.

At that point some guy who was stopped by the light, got out of his car and motioned to the 6 or 7 cars behind him to back up so I could turn and THEY ALL DID!!!

Even 35 years ago I was shocked.

The people in Cleveland 35 years ago were fabulous!!!

And the Cleveland Indians had the BEST stadium mustard EVER (Went to games mainly to eat the dogs!)

Born and raised in Bridgeport: the armpit of Connecticut. Little has changed. Don’t go back there anymore.
