That is NOT where he should start working.
There are truckloads of items that need fixing that the House has been sitting on for decades.

Nothing will turn voters off faster than him pushing a religious agenda.

Who care about points for a political agenda?

#4: "Nothing will turn voters off faster than him pushing a religious agenda."

So you wish.

Mike demonstrates his faith through example, and by a life well lived. Mike Johnson
lets his actions do the preaching. There's a lesson for you and me both.

“religious agenda”? LOL
Hmmm ...is that the only thing we haven’t tried for the last 50 years??
You should quit trying to style your comment in that woke-spoke style.
Everyone has a religion; a religion is a set of beliefs by which one conducts one’s life. The Democrat religion; the RINO religion; the Deep State religion.
Does FReeper Zathras have a religion? Of course he/she does.

______________

You apparently believe God doesn’t belong in the public sphere. We are not a secular theocracy you know.

Nothing will turn voters off faster than him pushing a religious agenda.

Huh? Who says he's going to push an agenda?

I am a Bible-believing Christian. … Go pick up a Bible off your shelf and read it – that’s my worldview.

Would your lame opinion be the same if he would have said "I'm a gun totin', bible thumpin' Christian?"

>> Nothing will turn voters off faster than him pushing a religious agenda.

“Having a Biblical worldview” does not mean “pushing a religious agenda”.

Please explain what you feel is a religious agenda?   A world view is what he said.   How does that relate to an agenda.   Name the President that has not had religious faith.

“Nothing will turn voters off faster than him pushing a religious agenda.“

He believes in biblical Christianity. That’s a worldview not a religion per se.
In fact, that was the consensus view in the US for most of American history.
Although there are many denominations of Christianity, the biblical view used to be the predominant theological position.

Now of course, many “Christian” denominations have swayed far from the Bible as the authority and basis for doctrine.

Rejecting Johnson for his religious beliefs is much like rejecting JFK because he was a Catholic.

I’m sure Johnson understands that politics is the art of the possible and he won’t impose his religious views on anyone, Hopefully, he will be guided by Biblical principles and the Holy Spirit so that he will be able to slow down the Satanic agenda that predominates in the country and world.

Sorry to say, but God always wins. The steep decline of American believers is what got us to where we are today. Matters not what the secularists, atheists and lukewarms “ believe “, I am with 110 percent with what is holy, righteous and clean.
……and that is not Biden’s America today….their is a huge price to pay for turning our backs on God.

“Nothing will turn voters off faster than him pushing a religious agenda.”

He of course didn’t say that.
He simply stated how his values are formed.

He was asked how he forms his worldview. He answered the question honestly. How is that “pushing a religious agenda”?
