The US Supreme Court on Friday declined to block West Point’s race-based admissions program that discriminates against whites while a lawsuit against the military academy makes its way through the lower courts.
Recall that last year the Supreme Court crushed the racist ‘Affirmative Action’ policies at Harvard and the University of North Carolina.
The High Court ruled 6-2 in the Harvard case with liberal justice Ketanji Brown Jackson opting out.
The Supreme Court justices ruled 6-3 in the University of North Carolina case brought by Students for Fair Admission (SFFA).
The conservative justices said the race-based affirmative action policies violated the equal protection clause of the Constitution’s 14th Amendment.
The group SFFA filed an emergency application request with the US Supreme Court for an injunction pausing West Point’s race-based admissions practices.
“Should these young Americans bear the burden of West Point’s unchecked racial discrimination? Or should West Point bear the burden of temporarily complying with the Constitution’s command of racial equality?” SFFA lawyers wrote in a petition to the Supreme Court, according to Fox News.

For the life of me I can’t understand why the SC wont settle this issue once and for all with a sweeping landmark decision that settles this issue forever.
Discrimination based on race is unconstitutional and law or policy which takes race into account is hereby declared invalid nationwide.

The Supreme Court ordered a trial first. They declined to exercise ‘emergency jurisdiction’. They wanted the ‘case record’ developed first.

The USSC said....lower courts first...then ask again...there’s an order to the system. They’re not blocking anything
This is an emergency injunction request. SCOTUS typically does not rule prior to allowing the lower courts to rule. I interpret this as nothing more than .... Let the lower courts sort this first.

Because the SC justices have too many cases, not enough time. Right or wrong, this is their thinking. They decline to rule on this now. But will be forced to as this case ascends up the Federale judicial ladder.
Plus the SC is schizophrenic and prefer to be ambiguous on blaque affirmative action scams. All Freepers know that this favoritism towards blacks is unfair and stupid. Especially as other minorities are outnumbering them more and more each year. As Hispanics and all kinds of Asians are streaming in here during the Joe potato head regime.
So blacks are not just scamming whitey. They are affirmative action scamming all who are not blaque.
There are currently only two conservative justices.
