The Russians have warned us over and over again that they will use nuclear weapons if they are forced into a direct war with western powers. So why are most western leaders not taking those threats seriously? Ukraine is not worth fighting a nuclear war over. Both sides would be wise to try to find a peaceful resolution while it is still possible to do so. But instead, we continue to see escalation after escalation. In particular, the Biden administration seems determined to see how close it can go without pushing things completely over the edge. This is very foolish, because the Russians are very serious about fighting a nuclear war if they are pushed too far.
Russian high-school students will be trained how to protect themselves in a possible nuclear war as part of the national curriculum, a local publication has reported.
Students will learn about “the combat properties and damaging effects of weapons of mass destruction, as well as methods of protection against them.” It will be part of a subject being rolled out in high schools in Russia called “Fundamentals of Security and Defense of the Motherland,” newspaper Kommersant reported on Tuesday, citing a document from the Ministry of Education.
Russian officials, including former President Dmitry Medvedev, have warned on multiple occasions that a nuclear war could break out amid the conflict in Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin said in September 2022 that Moscow was prepared to use nuclear weapons to defend its “territorial integrity” and the topic is regularly discussed on Russian state TV.

It’s not that they are not taking the threat seriously. It’s that they want it to happen, and somehow, foolishly=, think they can ride out that storm.
Likely they expect to have warning, and they may, and they with a certainty have bunkers or safe places to go for protection.
But they cannot escape God.
That is exactly what was said during the Cold War. Khrushchev said Russia would “bury us.” So while we were overseas fighting proxy wars with Russia and China in order to keep communism from spreading, it walked right in the back door here, infiltrating the RAT party, and turning Republicans into Rinos.
So an army that’s little more than a bunch of drunken bums with guns and is press ganging 60 years olds into it is going to bring about the Apocalypse?

I imagine the thought of facing front line, modern NATO equipment, aircraft, and missiles, DOES make the Russians think it would be the end of their world.
They are fully aware they are faced off against the Freshman AAU team in Ukraine. And they are struggling. That can’t feel good.
And yet, Put on decided that Ukraine and the ability to blackmail Europe was worth fighting a nuclear war over.

Go to You Tube and see what Russian soldiers do to get drunk. They sell their own weapons. They rip the wiring out of their tanks and vehicles to get money for booze. They are literally putting 60+ year old men in combat and the first thing these guys do is surrender. I don't blame them. So what I was saying was this mob is threatening Armageddon? I can’t disagree with your assessment of the Russian army knowing what Russian immigrants, legal ones, have told me about Russia and vodka. However, that you were referencing the Russian army was not clear in your comment.
