Professor Mike Baillie believes a comet fragment crashed into the Celtic Sea around the 540AD time frame and started the Dark Ages. Maybe that is one reason for looking else where. Also, King Arthur is widly believed to have died at this same 540AD date.

This is interesting stuff blam. Apparently politics and politicians have been rewriting history for a very long time. I can't get a handle on why, but maybe my mind just doesn't work like that.

Can you reconcile this statement with the one below I found in the link you provided to Madoc In America?

The tree rings indicate that the whole earth went into a dark age at 540AD...at least one of the comet fragments that caused it fell nearby in the Celtic Sea...I would get out of Dodge too!

My point was that you have to traverse a lot of North America to get to TN and the Mid West. Doesn't make sense that they bypassed the East Coast to build settlements a thousand miles inland.
