AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1160) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | March 25, 2004 | All of Us

Posted on 03/25/2004 4:36:24 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Richard Clarke testified before the 9/11 Committee yesterday and said two things of interest: (1) President Bush scaled back the effort to eliminate Al Qa'eda after he took over on January 20, 2001; and (2)that there was never any want of resources to battle terrorism under the UOx42 Administration.

Not to belabor the point, but one would have to set aside certain realities to accept that situation. UOx42 only shot missiles into tents, and only did it when he was caught with his pants down--literally. As stated yesterday, the country was not focused on terrorism as a main issue from January 20, 2001 till September 11, 2001, at 8:47 AM EST. But look at the response of this President: on September 13, 2001, the leader of Al Qa'eda remarked that Americans were hiding in their "caves". Who, today, is quite literally hiding in a cave?

But was is most interesting, is Clarke is inconsistent. His book condemns President Bush, yet there was a press briefing in August 2002 that praised the President's efforts.

Elsewhere, Hamas states that any Israeli anywhere in "occupied Palestine" (Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank) is subject to attack, and attacks will continue until Palestine is liberated.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

The back is doing pretty well now. It actually survived a ride across DC streets yesterday from our main site to one of our field facilities and back again.

Since the airwaves have been filled with talk about 'six months of Bush Whitehouse "inaction" on terrorism,' today I would just like to raise the spectre of a real legacy of inaction. Inaction starting with our fateful decision to leave Iran to the wolves.

Iran is where it all started. And our Democrat president chose to discontinue even modest efforts to respond. Two Clinton terms in the whitehouse returned us to a similar era where talk was more important than action.

Never forget.

Good morning! Former Navy Secretary Lehman was on this morning, and said that Clarke's partisan public testimony was in direct contradiction to his PRIVATE testimony (15 hours or so) which the commission used to frame their investigation!

Now, Clarke has known for over a year that he had a book contract, and I presume that for at least 6 months he has known the content of the book he was writing. So has Simon and Schuster. There were NO leaks about the content of that book before the public hearing schedule was set.

Clark is worse than a disgruntled employee, in my opinion. He is a turncoat, and is trying to bring down the presidency.

Not enough bad things can happen to him.

And yet Clarke admitted that there was no PLAN handed over by the Clinton administration on dealing with Al Qaeda.

No plan for something Clarke said had the highest priority of the Clinton administration? Right.

Also, Powell testified that the less than two month old Bush administration closed the New York City Taliban office in February 2001.

In April they told the Taliban that if an attack occurred on our soil, they would be held responsible.

Then the administration seized the Taliban's assets.

Clinton didn't do any of that because he was too busy hosting Arafat as the most frequent White House visitor and ordering the DOJ to go after Microsoft. There have been a few books written by ex-FBI officers who quit in frustrating because they were ordered to quit going after bad guys and go after Microsoft.

But, according to the now discredited Clarke, there was no higher priority within the Clinton administration than to go after AQ and terrorists. Uh huh. I may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night.

Appears to be political prostituion at our nation's expense. What a slimeball! And, I might add, all those on the commission who used his book as their proof are all pimps.

The REAL story is that Clarke is part of an organized plan by Kerry and the DNC (perhaps the NY Times as well).

I agree. Contents of the book were NOT leaked prior to the CBS interview, which is highly unusual.

Clarke is a long-time friend of Rand Beers, who is Kerry's foreign policy advisor and in fact teaches a course with him and the Harvard School of Government.

Kerry is prancing around with a copy of the book prominently displayed.

Clarke shaped the direction of the commissions investigation with 15 hours of testimony in direct contradiction to his public testimony yesterday.

Now here is Harold Ford saying it is unfair that Clarke is being personally discredited by the White House.

Once again, I remind you all about SCOTT RITTER, who pulled the exact same switcheroo.

Not only is there the 2002 Press briefing, but from everything I can find, there is also sworn testimony to different congressional committees, as well as a closed door session with the 9/11 commission that also diametrically oppose what he said yesterday as well as the bilge he spews in his book.

IMHO, the RATs, and specifically this yahoo clarke, have vastly overplayed their hand on this. The contradictions and lies being told by the RATs and clarke are coming out and more revelations I believe will be forthcoming.

I also believe clarke has been bought off/blackmailed. I would not be surprised to find a connection between clark-soros-moveon-dnc. /tinfoil hat

Jane.......take your theory one step further.

This book was in the works a year ago right......who was the frontrunner?

Dean.

Kerry's National Security Advisor is Rand Beer.....whose best friend is Richard Clarke.

See how everything has come together at this exact moment.

Dean implodes.

Kerry becomes the nominee.

9/11 hearings.

Richard Clark writes this book.

60 minutes gives it 2 segments..unheard of.

Media goes on the attack.

What if Dean being the frontrunner... was all a front.

Kerry was the choice all along....but because he is so damaged.....they couldn't risk his being exposed to soon.

#15...Sounds like the lefties are already backtracking...

...Harold Ford Jr. was just on FOX and when Juliette mentioned the Jim Angle report, Harold backtracked so fast & immediately tried to obfuscate the point.

At least, that's my take.....did you all hear it?

...just read your post...

..Ford did say it was unfair (oh waaaa)...that Clark is being discredited....

..but I thought he did a fast about-face when Juliette confronted him directly with the Angle report.
