[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

We just had another storm pass threw-man they are getting so I get set the clock by them. Thunder and rain every afternoon at 3:30- 4:00 p.m.

Reminds me of 1993 when we kept getting blizzards every wednsday for a few weeks.

The January or so 1996 blizzard, I got snowed in for a few days at my then fiance's place.

For some reason your poetry on Thread Bears in your closet reminded me of the Erma Bombeck quote on hangers;

Sexually active coat hangers are at their peak when they are in a small closet. We once lived in an apartment with a closet so small it couldn't support a rod... just two nails. Within a week (the shortest gestation in the history of coat hangers) we had thirty-seven of those little suckers.
