Funny I did not see the article posted, as I viewed
the first hundred or so new postings, probably was
101! I'll try to be more carefull in the future. But
at 58 when you spend 12-24 hours a day behind a PC
monitor one can get sloppy.

I can't find the article since it was pulled. (Title was something like "Battleground States Shrink... As Bush And Kerry Scale Back Plans" or something like that.)
The moderator did say it was a duplicate and linked to the Sunday night posting. And I didn't get my feelings hurt.
My only question was regarding the preference of the forum on duplicate posts.
In other words, if you find an important story that was posted at 1:00 am when most people are in bed and thus had only 3 replies, can it be reposted at a time when more people can see it?

We look at titles and links. If a story was posted a 1 am, and you post it at 7 am, the four hour guidelines will kick in. That is unless it's in a sidebar such as breaking news, front page, extended or editorial. Or, if it's been posted ad nausea.

I, too, am concerned with what seems to be a rush to extricate ourselves from Iraq. I had hoped that the U.S. would maintain a large presence there as a threat to would-be terrorist nations.
But now the U.S. is negotiating with terrorists (Al-Sadr), pulling out and backing down when things get hot (Falluja), and turning over "sovereignty" to a puppet government.
I don't have the answers to this conundrum, but some things that the current administration is doing (or not doing) have raised some red flags in my mind.
Of course, it's hard to get the real story, considering the bias of the MSM and all...

heart and mind. Our all volunteer military are simply the best! Only after 35 years is Kerry forced to start parroting what GW already said a year ago! How can any US Senator other then slimmers like Teddy or Dodd etc., even want to sit in the same room with this snake!
