WHY IS LANNY DAVIS REPRESENTING ROBERT PARTON (OIL FOR FOOD SCANDAL)? NEWBIE HERE!
05/06/05 | lorris

Posted on 05/06/2005 6:57:30 PM PDT by lorris

Please forgive me if this post isn't in the correct place. I am a first-time poster - long-time reader. Lanny Davis representing Robert Parton? A Clinton advisor is representing the one man who could take Kofi out of the U.N.? I smell something bad here. Is this a way for Clinton to try to slide into secretary general - by using his own advisor to cut off Kofi's head? I'm confused.

Again, I apologize if this post is incorrect. Please have mercy on the newbie!!!

I don't see Kofi losing much of anything, yet. Welcome.

A link to an article would be helpful.

Good luck, you'll probably get hammered.

Member nations of the permanent security council cannot have a secretary general just FYI. Welcome

I was thinking the secretary general of the UN couldn't be from a permanent member of the Security Council. Not 100% sure, though.

Lanny is a prostitute. He will do anything for money. Just as 99% of lawyers will do.

There are of course, loopholes in that rule. IIRC, it is recommended that Security Council nations not provide the Sec General. Otherwise, all he'd have to do is renounce his US citizenship. At that point, my give a damn is busted.

Welcome aboard. Hope your stay is pleaasnt and informative.
What you should do is read the FAQ's and help sections to get an idea as how to post things. You posted to what is normally reserved for news articles. There is a forum section called
"General Chat", which is intended to allow for personal questions as you have posted. Often a person will add a "Vanity" to the end of the post's title to indicate it is a personal opinion. So take a bit of time to read the help/FAQ's so that people don't flame you in the future. We all got flamed more or less when we first came to this site, posted something, without following the rules.

I agree with you there!! Anytime a Clinton Operative is in the pile, it's for one thing and one thing only! If the Trail starts leading to Bill or Hill then start taking them in a different direction or call out the Klintonista Militia!
