Oh, my. We have to talk about this. Some meteorolgist is claiming that Katrina was created and driven. He says that the Russians have claimed that they can do this. They also created Ivan. This storm was designed to stike our oil and natural gas facilities.

Last year, the same meteorologist was on Coast peddling the theory that Florida was hit by hurricanes due to weather manipulation intended to ease Bush's reelection. This year, his theory is weather warfare by the Russians, and Hoagland weighs in that his cherished hyper-dimensional physics is involved. Their evidence, if one can call it that, is supposedly odd cloud formations as shown in satellite photos of the storms. These claims are manifestly ludicrous, but I would feel a lot better if I did not have the dire suspicion that the proponents were not mere con men but believed what they were saying.
