Love
April: Spring is here and I can start digging in the yard again, plus all my fall work starts to show.

October: It's cool again, and yes, I can start digging in the yard.

Love/Hate Relationship:
December: Christmas, I love the holiday, but dang, I get so depressed!

Hate
July and August: Lets see, we had 107 to 110 degree heat indexes these months. Everything gets scorched, including me. Enough said.

Fav: June, trees and plant are in bloom. The warm season is young and full of promise.

Least fav: April, specifically the 15th, when the full scope of the robbery that is called income tax comes into view.

"June, trees and plant are in bloom. The warm season is young and full of promise."

You must live up north. In Texas by June we're heavy into summer we're getting our last rain for the summer.

Everybody's birthday is in August! Maybe that means everybody's favorite month is really December? (g)

We have had rain all year up till about a week ago, and a drop more would be nice to get the cotton finished.
Our pastures are green and the horses are loving it! : )
Downside: I'm having to mow every week and have killed the ride on, three times! LOL

Ok, you're really trying to get on my good side, ainthca? Telling me about all that rain and driving around in that King Ranch F150. I hope your mower throws a rock into the side of your truck and that you get serious allergy attacks!

Favorites

October - lovely weather, nice foilage, football, Mr sassbox's birthday, and Halloween.

December - first snowfall usually and, of course, Christmas!

Least Favorites

March - still cold and wintry, but rarely snows. Instead all you get to look at are bare trees and dead brown grass. I can deal with cold as long as there's some attractive snow. I can't deal with March.

August - too freaking hot and humid, yet nonetheless school starts. No good holidays in this month either.

Favorites: October (birthday, the smell of Autumn, cool weather); May (anniversary, warmer and drier weather).

Least Favorites: February (we usually get ice storms); April (too rainy).

The "no holiday" thing with August is a good point. I think its the only month that doesn't have a holiday. Maybe we need to add one.

I had a chance to go to Pittsburg about 10 years ago. I was very surprised how pretty the city was. I was expecting smoke stacks, etc but drove out of the tunnell from the airport at night and saw what looked like a ski town. It was beautiful.

The city's signage codes, however, didn't help. I was hoping to grab a hamburger before I went to the hotel so I thought I would just drive up the freeway and pull over when I saw the first fast food sign towering in the sky. Never say one! It made for a beautiful city but also made one hunger and frustrated traveler!
