Snaiged it!
Somebody got into our cars last night. Steve emailed me and told me the keys to his city truck were missing and all the stuff from his glove box was pulled out and thrown around.
So I went out to check my car and found the same situation, glove box all over the floor and also Steve's city truck keys. Guess they tried them on both vehicles and since neither worked, they left them.
I don't think they got anything of any importance...I can't remember what all was in the glove box. I'm going to file a report anyway.

It seems the idea of private property is not recognized much any more.
Yes, do report it even if nothing was taken, it was trespassing all the same.

Glad they left the keys, the city might have had a big hassle on their hands to re-key things if they hadn't.
I know, but it belonged to those who are regularly in here.. no lurker types like me.

I'm pretty shook up, kinda nauseated. Steve was really mad. But the good thing is, they didn't steal our cars and there wasn't anything in them to steal and since the doors were unlocked, they didn't bust out our windows.
Steve just kept saying "I can't believe it, because he was asleep on the couch (he sleeps on the couch when he wants to read in the night) and the couch is just on the other side of the wall from the cars.
Hope they find the culprits quick.
