Malaysia Creates Team to Track 'Bigfoot' Thursday, January 26, 2006

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — A southern Malaysian state will appoint a team of scientists and experts to hunt for a "Bigfoot" beast after the reported sighting of three giant human-like creatures, officials said Thursday. Johor Chief Minister Abdul Ghani Othman said the state will form an official Bigfoot-tracking team in a serious bid to find evidence of such a beast following the reported sightings late last year in the Endau Rompin National Park forest.

"The mystery of Bigfoot's existence has attracted a lot of interest," he was quoted as saying by the Bernama national news agency. "We hope the expedition will be able to prove its existence."

Giant, over-sized, hairy beast in Maylasia?

So that's where Ted Kennedy went on vacation.

Geez...I can simplify things for them, he's at my house, he's actually a dog. He is huge and hairy, thinks he is human and I have started calling him Sasquatch because he has a bad habit of stepping on my toes.

All this time and searching, and we didn't realize we were just looking for a dog instead of an ape. Could have simplified things from the get-go.

An undated handout photo released by the Malaysia Nature Society taken in a swamp near Malaysia's southern town of Kota Tinggi, claiming it to be a footprint of a Bigfoot. Bigfoot fever has arrived in Malaysia, with local newspapers and the official news agency reporting sightings of a huge ape in southern rainforests. Call me cynical, but I have a suspicion that some of the orang asli elders want a slice of the tourist bucks that flood into the other parts of the country.

Their wild tales of ghosts, critters, and spirits always cracked me up...

No, but if you'd like to make one... do so...

There are only, say, 10 people that I know of that would be interested.
