REVELATION: Many American Idol Contestants MUST BE DUmmies!!
2/1/06 | Me

Posted on 02/01/2006 1:21:35 PM PST by RogerWilko

After watching American Idol for numerous seasons, I have come to the conclusion that a GREAT DEAL of these contestants have GOT TO BE DUmmies!!

Anyone who watches the show would have to agree that some of these people are SOOOOO CLUELESS to their singing ability... It's TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!! This must be the type of universe a lot of the DUmmies live in... An ALTERNATE UNIVERSE!! I mean, how can some of those people on the show, that have seriously gone there to audition... Think that they can ACTUALLY sing???!!

This has GOT TO BE the way some of the idiots think on the DUmmie side... Even though something makes NO LOGICAL SENSE, they are willing to run with it, NO MATTER how STUPID it may make them look! They don't think it's illogical or stupid... They think they are RIGHT!! Just like a BUNCH of those contestants think they are the BEST SINGERS in the world, since the development of sliced bread!

I thought I might just throw that out there since it popped into my head while I was watching last night. I think it's got some validity! Throw in your comments at will!!

I hear JD Roberts was dumped as a contestant. Fortunately CNN has him in their anchor line up now.

Called "My 15 minutes (or seconds0" - or the William Hung syndrome... That they look/sound so rediculous that they get a burst of fame..

I'm not a fan of the show and seldom watch any TV, but I do watch it during the first tryout weeks. It makes me laugh more than any sitcoms ever have.

I can probably count on half of a hand the number of Idol shows I have watched, but..

I'm sure the show's producers encourage those people to get up and make fools of themselves. In fact, the only shows I have seen were the shows at the beginning of the season where the train wrecks were performing.

I've reduced myself to about 3 hours of TV a week.
The IQ drain is too exasperating.

I would have thought the same thing about the show's viewers. But, it's just a hunch. I've never seen it.

Man... You DON'T KNOW what your missing! I'm sure it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's fun to watch a lot of these clueless people who think they can sing!

It's kind of like going over to DU to watch the zoo. I guess if you don't enjoy clueless people saying and doing DUmb things, you probably can't appreciate such mighty fine TV!

Some of those participants do know that they are off. Some have even found 5 seconds of fame from it.

It's like a (no) talent show.

Bring the Gong Show back to broadcast television, and you might be able to draw that same audience.

Ya know, I was just asking this question, while watching AI, last night. I wonder how many wanna be contestants are liberals?

There are an awful lot of them in dreamland, that's for sure.
