Teddy recklessly equates the illegal alien cause with the civil rights movement of black Americans (emphasis on Americans).Amnesty will only be the beginning. The protests will continue demanding all manner of government bennies for illegals. Even reparations! For after all, they will be american citizens!

About the only thing more absurd than Ted Kennedy's position on illegal immigration would be for Ted to try and start being a coyote getting illegals across the Rio Grande.
Maybe not. As Rush noted this morning, there seems to be a leveling off of the hysteria. I posted this last night and it seems even more current today:
Live reports on KFI Los Angeles tonight indicated far fewer people showed up to protest than were expected, and instead of completing their planned march, the protesters quickly dispersed once the TV trucks were gone.
As it was with the ports deal, a lot of this hysteria of the past few weeks is undoubtedly fueled by good ol' media hype, aided and abetted by Democrats who love a chance to pile on the President; and when the media goes away, so does the hysteria. Funny how that works.
I think Cardinal Mahoney is the coyote.
