Concord, N.H. Two years after being confirmed as the world's first openly homosexual Bishop, Rev. Canon V. Gene Robertson exercised his new power Friday by adding Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" to the list of songs to be printed in the New Hampshire Episcopal Church's new hymnals, which will be distributed to churches within Robertson's diocese in June.
"My hope is that the congregation can look past the non-traditional lyrical content and see that Freddy Mercury's melodies are just as uplifting as conventional Church hymns," Robertson said, adding that he's "always had a special place in [his] heart for Queen."
Robertson also said he was still considering adding a George Michael song to the 453-page hymnal: "'Faith' would be the obvious choice, but I've always kind of been partial to 'Father Figure.'"

You sure he didn't say, "..special place in his heart for A queen"?

It's Robinson, not Robertson. If they can't even get the name correct, I have to suspect everything in the piece.

"Big Balls" by AC/DC might be a good addition for the "bishop".
To: Graybeard58
They should have used the song "Fat Bottomed Girls" instead.

Why not "In The Garden Of Eden" by I. Ron Butterfly?

Well, Freddy Mercury died from AIDs and was gay, so I guess he does have a place in his heart for a queen.

There'd be too much banging on the pews during the long riff? :)

Yeah, they say he was so tripped out on acid, he slurred the words and it came out "Inna Godda Davida," and the rest of the band thought it was hilarious and told him to keep it slurred. First album to go platinum, if i'm not mistaken.
