A Memphis police officer is accused of offering to drop a ticket against a female driver if she would pose for photos. A grand jury indicted Jacques Walker on two counts of official misconduct and one count of official suppression.
Walker turned himself in yesterday and is free on $1,000 bond.
The felony counts relate to a June 22nd traffic stop, after which the woman reported Walker said he'd make the ticket go away if she would pose in lingerie while he took pictures.
Internal affairs officers staked out the woman's house and arrested Walker when he arrived on June 26th. He was relieved of duty.
The official suppression charge relates to a public official harassment, mistreatment or unlawful arrest, using the authority of his or her job.
