An Austrian roofer who slipped on the job ended up nailing himself to the roof - through his wedding tackle.
According to Ananova, 59-year-old August Voegl of Jennersdorf "shot the four-inch nail into his left testicle with the compressed air nail gun" and was thereafter "unable to extract it or pull himself away from the roof".
It was left to emergency medics to separate Voegl from the building and, after being whisked to hospital by air ambulance, he's reportedly "recovering well" following surgery. ®

I thought I was the only one who sewed thru my thumb on a sewing machine...but it missed bone, tendon and blood vessel. Hardly hurt and didn't bleed, just left a hole in my thumb nail.

I've read that there are warnings placed on nail guns telling you not to fire it at your head.
But this one,I would think,would have been....obvious.

I really, REALLY, hate it when that happens. Gotta hurt like the Dickens (pun intended)
I actually have a 2nd cousin ( a very dumb, drunken and drugged 2nd cousin) who managed to shoot himself in the stomach 2 different times with a nail gun while working as a carpenter.
I try to avoid him and his equally bad luck and behavior brother ( dumb enough to roll through a stop sign in front of a cop while drunk, on parole and carrying a handgun [which he threw out the window with the officer in persuit] ) at all costs.
