Neil Boortz is quoted as saying: "So how did I actually vote when I got that provisional ballot in my hand. Straight Libertarian."
Thank you Neil Boortz. Thanks to you and those who think like you, we now have the Democrats in control of Congress. I hope you and your ilk are very happy.
Free Republic is allegedly a CONSERVATIVE web site. Will you libertarians please go somewhere like Lucianne.com, where you can laugh and smile about how you put the Republicans out of power, and leave Free Republic to the conservatives.
Oh, and one more thing.
Neil Boortz -- GO TO HELL.
DITTO!
Michael Medved calls them "Losertarians".
Double Ditto.
No Republican lost in Georgia because of libertarian votes.
Whaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!

(thanks tpaine)
Quick call the WHAAAAmbulance.

You can't fault liberatarians for this. It's silly.
Republicans have no one to blame but themselves. PERIOD! I went out yesterday and voted R. I feel like an absolute chump. If the Republicans had done their job, they would have kept both Houses easily.
Yeahh...let's shrink the party even more!!!!!
Then we can lose in 08 even more better!!!{sarc}
Geeze, excuse me, I didn't realize you owned this site...BTW, considering the 12 years of GOP control of the Congress made possible by our vote, do you want us out permanently?
Medved has terrible taste in movies, but he's right on when it comes to Libertarian.
Saw this response on another thread. It was asinine there as well.
totally agree! by 1/2 tradors - thanks a ton
And the GOP demonstrably ISN'T these days. We are your "Jimminy Cricket" reminding you of this inconvenient fact.
Yes, let's continue to place the blame with others, instead of where it belongs - the Republicans in Congress. They lost it for themselves.
it's 1992 all over again .. but worse
If the republicans continue to act like democrats (my goodness look at the growth of the federal budget) why should conservatives of libertarians stay loyal to them?
...yet another reason I don't listen to Boortz.
I don't have anything to add. Just wanted to drop by.
Thank you Libertarians for helping stab the troops in the back. Next time you have to deal with terrorists, don't call my family, you're going to be on your own.
Ping
FU and the horse you rode in on. Bush is spending more then Clinton ever did and we're supposed to be grateful. No, the Republicans deserved to lose.
OK, somebody needs to Photoshop that crying baby as the official seal of the REPUBLICAN party, just for you....
Thank you, I did the same and feel the same. I'm an independent with Objectivist philosophical leanings. I still vote Republican the vast majority of the time.
seems the losertarians forgot all about the little guy with the big ears that gave us 8 years of clinton.
Unless you're the owner of this site in disguise, all you're doing is creating hate and discontent.
This from an independant that held his nose again.
the republicans have acted like anything but conservatives and have no one to blame but themselves.
please name the true conservative leaders in today's republican party because i sure don't see any
Enjoy your tax increase.
If he were in a district where it mattered, I'd understand your anger. But he's in a perfect position to go ahead and vote his conscience-- because it ultimately would NOT effect any races.

Yes it is assine, just like this vanity.
Freepers love to use it on liberals, just wondering how they respond in turnabout...
He bragged on his web site he was glad the republicans got their buts handed to them. Wonder how he will feel after his taxes go up and the dims start to muzzle talk radio.
Agreed!!!
Yeah...and Republicans are allegedly a CONSERVATIVE political party.
Just so you know, this small-L libertarian voted a straight R ticket in my district yesterday, against my better judgment.
It's about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Choose again
Well, the Jeffersonian tradition could be described as conservative - and libertarian. [Check Larry Elder on that].
Exactly. This is a Conservative forum, not a GOP one. This past government abandoned many conservative principles and got their a** handing to them for it.
Without the Libertarian leaning Republicans, the GOP will be a permanent minority party. Libertarians believe in the primacy of the US Constitution, and therefore in individual rights and responsibilities. In other words, retaining this Constitutional Republic.
Ny question is, What do Libertarians hope to gain by voting 3rd party when it is obvious they will never gain a substantial part of the electorate. It seems they must feel some partiality to one of the other major parties that they could help in winning elections. Which one would it be?
You are wrong! Please read this...

Your question asnwers itself. But even if it didn't, these mid-term elections did.
File this under "how to win friends and influence people". Ticking off people who should be your allies isn't smart politics.
I'm not a Libertarian Fan but the GOP lost this election cycle because of their own damn fault. The GOP stood at the plate with the bat on their shoulder and struck out.
What about me, a conservatarian, Am I no longer welcome???
Same here. I voted a straight R ticket, as I almost always have.
Instead of tearing a rift in the party and pointing fingers and getting into screaming matches, let's regroup and figure out what WE - conservatives, libertarians, party loyalists, and everyone else who wanted a Republican victory - did wrong, and what we're going to do about it now. Screaming at people who actually agree with you and have allied interests with you is not particularly productive.
