As we settle into the nighttime of dispair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!
Breaking News--The Earth is not flat!
It is in this vein that we get a report from the Commission on Why in the World Can't We Figure Out How to Get Iraq to get Shopping Carts for its Homeless, or the Iraq Commission for short. They report that things haven't gone exactly as planned in the Iraq War.
What a shocker. And to add to that they have the temerity to suggest that we might actually have to think of something else to do.
Keep in mind we paid mucho millions of dineros to get this information.
Maybe that's why the media are fawning all over this information. Iraq is messed up, then again, so am I first thing in the morning. Neither is a pretty sight.
Front page news in virtually every left wing outlet this morning--the President must do something different. After all, this from the Committee on Giving Iraqis Running Water for their Toilets. Where were they last week when the President himself said something to the effect that Iraq, well, needs a new direction. Maybe the media thought the President was referring to some new sports car that made an error in the Springfield Mixing Bowl interchange on Highway 495.
Of course, this can't be a total love-in by the 1960s nostalgic media unless it pulls in some fellow nutcases. Queue Algore, enter stage left.
"Worst mistake in the history of the United States" pines the man who thought he was once the "next Prsident of the United States. At least the worst mistake since allowing Mr. Algore anywhere near a microphone and camera combination.
The report lays out some 79 recommendations. Let's take a look at a few.
10. Iraqis should stop killing each other. If only they would stop doing this, well, we could get away from this messy war thingy.
9. Provide massive humanitarian aid, especially in the form of prozac. If everyone is happy, then no one is mad. Again, we get beyond the war issue.
8. Declare victory. Hey it worked, sort of, in Vietnam, why wouldn't it work here?
7. Send Jesse Jackson to mediate. At least he wouldn't be mediating over here.
6. Raise the minimum wage for Iraqis. The left claims that makes people happy over here, so it should make Iraqis happy over there. Yes, just throw money to the masses.
5. Get that water running to sanitary facilities. A clean Iraqi is a happy Iraqi, and a happy Iraqi doesn't shoot other Iraqis.
4. Education--get them smarter. This is good. One of two things will happen. Either they'll wise up and stop shooting, or they'll get a big enough bomb to blow everything up over there. Hopefully it stays over there.
3. Send Jay Leno. Maybe they'll be laughing too much to cause more trouble.
2. Force the Iraqis to fill out American levels of paperwork before they are allowed to fight any more conflicts. The shear weight of the effort is sure to exhaust the most die-hard extremist.
And, for the number 1 solution? Drum roll, please...
1. Elect real Republicans. Not the pansy folks we have now that will do anything to make the left happy thinking they'll go away. Just as the Iraqi terrorist groups are a wartime enemy, the Neo-Communist Party (aka Democratic Party of the USA) are the sworn enemy of any true Republican. The mere fact they took a yawn report and are trumpeting this as the gospel according to Nancy Pelosi, or some twaddle like that, ought to be proof enough.
Stay the course. Change the methodology, sure, but keep the eye on the prize. Both militarily and politically.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
LET'S ROLL!!!
Is there any way to discover the identities of those "seniors of the democrat party" who reportedly consulted w/Hamas prior to the election?

Good morning everyone.
Well, the **** is falling, and travelling will be tricky, but must....do....it...today...
In and out...loaded the back of the van with extra weight yesterday...a blanket in the back seat, and some other things...
Sad story about the Kim family, but it may help some of us be more careful travelers.
Good Morning!
Yes, please be careful, sounds like you heed the warning and are prepared.
Traveling prayers for you !
Northern Yankee, wouldn't it be great if at Rummy's farewell ceremony the Army chorus sang "We'll Follow the Old Man?"
I should be in charge of PR for the administration.
Absolutely.
Good morning.
The WSJ has an editorial called "The Iraq Muddle Group". ROFL
I'll try and check in later. We have some Christmas shopping to do and want to get an early start.
Spent the day going to the doctor, shopping, meeting daughter & Jellybean for coffee, and visitng dad.
Today I hope to be home, home, home...!!
Molly, Thirds is so use to this, I'm sure, but when we were in Colorado temporarily for my husband's work assignment, October started with the snow early, and sometimes quite unexpectedly....
Not being use to this, anytime we traveled I-70 through the mountains (toward the Continental Divide)...I brought extra water, sweaters, blanket, etc.
One day we were determined to go somewhere, but half way up the mountains on I-70, cars were sliding right and left (it had just started snowing)...
..and we had the good sense to turn around...(I can't remember the name, Thirds, but it's where you can see buffalo on the side of the road)...
Once, we were traveling to Idaho Springs through the mountain pass, and snow was banked on either side...
I kept thinking 'If we go off the road and disappear in one of those snowbanks, we won't be found till it melts!"
Poor Kim family, sounds like he truly wasn't expecting this turn of events, and simply got lost.....so sad.
Good Morning.
Good morning.
Interesting read: Michael New's book review of Hillary's lack of accomplishments at nationalreview online.
Real all of the article. This child already has a string of actions suggestive of a future career in crime.
I couldn't understand why my parents were crying and why we had to wait at home until my Grandparents arrived before going to church.
Larry used to tell me what he was doing the minute he heard the report on the radio station. He was managing an auto dealership in Los Angeles at the time and had just opened the show room when he heard the news. He enlisted soon after that day.
I remember my Dad tuning in the shortwave radio so he could listen to the war news and I remember the family listening to the fireside chats by FDR.
I remember 12-7-41 and I remember 9-11-01. I pray for all the proud men and women to fought and died so that we could have Freedom.
Dog reposted from earlier, I don't think you 've seen this.
To: Dog Why don't you put a box on the floor with the side open so it can get shelter from the wind and rain. An old blanket or scarf would be nice too. Your a good guy, Charlie Brown, for taking care of the cat.
"Booking Hillary"? Into prison? lol
