Get ready for more of the same when the RNC comes to the Twin Cities. The "progressive community" is already getting ready here.
Mn Freepers will be ready to counter act them.

I still don't get it. Why do you have to be so obtuse, can't you just tell me what I'm supposed to be seeing, other than links to links that end up throwing a bunch of stupid pop-ups on my screen, which I presume is NOT what you wanted to do to me?

What is the point? So there's links, and the guy who wrote it think's he's funny. What's the point?

This is the brochure for the protest of the 2004 Republican National Convention.

This brochure is for the groups, Not in Our Name, Code Pink, RNC2DNC, MoveOn, Stonewall and name the group of the day.

There were a lot of thank yous that went out on the anti war protesters mails for all the inside help they had in getting the RNC schedule of events, guests and planning information so they could affectly assemble at all the events.

Look at August 29. A thank you party was held for the Log Cabin Republicans.

I have more stuff of interest in my list serve mail from these groups; but since I can't link it like this, I'll leave it there. Not sourced is gossip.

But this event brochure, is sourced.

2004 was an interesting anti American year for the Log Cabin Repubicans.

http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Log_Cabin_Republicans
Log Cabin Republicans campaigned AGAINST Bush in 2004.

Log Cabin (Republicans) need to account for where they got the money to fund the $1M ad campaign against President Bush in 2004 in key battleground states. This is a Federally-regulated organization (IRS and FEC rules apply!), but they have never documented where this money came from.

I missed the significance. I thought it was just telling us the Log Cabin Republicans were having a party, just like the calender two days later said the RNC convention was happening.

I don't know how to tell which events on the calendar are for the people supporting this group, and which were events they were going to picket.

You can go through the links and download the PDFs. Those have the coded events for protest, venue, social, etc.

The Log Cabin Party is being given by the anti war protesters.

The Log Cabin Party is being given by the anti war protesters.

It's becoming more and more difficult to tell where a 'conservative' group and the liberals start and end.

Even Grover Norquist with his various 'non-profits' (And I have a bridge to sell ya!) have teamed up with the ACLU, A.N.S.W.E.R, and others to protest for illegal alien rights and anti war causes.

http://www.aclusc.org/Page/PressRel/p050322n.html

" Former Congressman Bob Barr, a Republican from Georgia, will chair the new group, "Patriots to Restore Checks and Balances," which includes Americans for Tax Reform, the American Conservative Union and others."

Another 'hard to tell whose side their on' non profit group of Norquist is National Alliance For Worker and Employer Rights, who is more concerned with cheap illegal labor under the guise of busting unions.

Not to mention Norquist's Islamic Institute and being on the board of NRA and Chamber of Commerce. He even has Soros speak at his meetings. IIRC, he even had Al Gore.

It seems pretty simple to me. This was the Lefties' guide to protesting at the 2004 convention. Interesting old stuff, but no biggie. If the info is still correct, it is a great source of info on the moonbats.
