My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Just to let you all know what's going on with the Trikes. Today we begin our 'epic' journey to the distant and mystical land of Auburn Alabama in search of the elusive job and an end to snow, ice and wind chill! Right now, we're camped in at a Super 8 motel, just Nancy and I and the two demented cats. After a week of packing, we're mostly sore muscles and near exhaustion, and today, four friends from the Steamboat Museum, and a bunch of young ladies and their parents from a local church group helped us put everything into the big van. It has been one of the longest days I can remember in a very long time! We are going to sleep in late (at least until 7PM) and then get organized and set off for a big breakfast and then the open road. 1400 miles /4 days, and who knows how many rest stops for the cats, we're going to have an adventure!!!!

LOL The day has gone well I have been up for ever. I am ready to retire for the night. ;)
I awoke at 4:30 AM, two days ago that would have been 3:00 AM!
However, all was not lost on my early than usual rising, I saw a wonderful phenomenon in the night sky. It was a half moon and above and off to the right of it one bright shinning star. Magic in the sky.
